Yes. I hope it is to Torchlight 1 what Diablo 2 was to Diablo 1: open areas, much expanded world and story, far more diverse builds.
...But still Matt Uelmen's amazing music. :) And they said *I* was bad at PoE. At least I made it out of act 1 and know how to use the /dnd function. El oh fucking el.

Yes I'm looking forward to it; I will buy it, but I'm not expecting much.
The first Torchlight was fun for about an hour, then it got really boring. I eventually beat the end boss, but not after several levels of arduous boredom. I tried several different mods, but again found myself bored after only a few minutes. I'm kind of expecting the same thing in Torchlight 2, but with multiplayer tacked on. That's how I felt when I first played Diablo II, but then it got interesting. Torchlight is fun, but I think torchlight II will be more fun. Games always seem more fun when you are playing with friends you know?

" To be honest, the multiplayer is the only thing that made the Diablo games fun. I mean, I can see how they'd be enjoyable as singleplayer games, but I felt the same way about Diablo as you do about Torchlight. And, similarly, I felt the same way about Torchlight as you did about, well, Torchlight. And it wasn't just that I played with friends that made it fun, I played with some strangers, and oddly, for reasons I can't explain, it was just more enjoyable. Some odd sentence structure there. Anyway, I'm hoping that Torchlight 2's multiplayer will be the Diablo multiplayer that actually was fun, if you get what I'm saying. Yep looking forward to it if for nothing else than the mods, some of the mods that came out of TL1 were simply amazing.
