[3.15] EARTHSHATTER JUGGERNAUT Build. BEST OF SLAMs. Screen Wide AOE. Cheap League Starter!
" UPDATE: Should wear the gloves for VULN, then the mark for bosses https://www.twitch.tv/angry_roleplayer All builds: http://www.angryroleplayer.com/path-of-exile-builds/ https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2143469 Last edited by Angry_Roleplayer on Oct 1, 2020, 12:37:07 PM

" Which charges? - Endurance charge you proc by being hit or when you stun something (see the Ascendency) - Power charges you generate when you a) knockback stuff. You can knockback stuff with the Lion's roar or by hitting stuff with staff (if you have the Blunt trauma node) b) when you block (if you have Whirling barier node) - Frenzy charges you generate only when you kill mobs. The only other way to generate frenzy charges (by hitting stuff, not killing) is to use the "Anomalous blood rage" version of blood rage. Hope it helps.
" From the wiki " My personal advice: if you have enough currency, get a chest with "an additional curse".
mace pastebin is broken

Hi, I don't know if it's been asked already is it viable with Atziri's Disfavour Vaal Axe or do you even recommand it ? (And of course we change the Staves nodes for Cleaving and Slaughter)

Used this build as a league starter and it's fine so far. Clearing is really nice with the gloves, but the bossdamage and weakness to elemental damage makes me want to reroll

" Not so great as before, but still viable. Axe nodes are in pretty bad spreading though so i discarded the axe version of the build since 3.7 https://www.twitch.tv/angry_roleplayer

I see a lot of new people that finish act10 and start to buy all those uniques and have a hard time before the build fully enables its potential.
So here's my suggested alternative, cheap and reliable to get you to lvl90. Helm Abyssus is an amazing helm once you can compensate for the increased damage taken. Ideally you want one with the Earthshatter enchant too. So, what's the alternative? Buy a ilvl72+ (ideally 84) STR helmet that has the 40% increased earthatter damage. It should be 2-10 chaos. Scoure it, apply 20% quality and slam an essence.
Spoiler
I would suggest a life essence (Greed). The higher the tier, the better. You should be able to get a decent helm in 1-3 tries. Aim for double rez, armor and open suffix to craft dex/int/more rez. Gloves Just get Haemopihili. They are going for 1-3 chaos. !!Don't!! spent a tone of currency trying to buy a pair with vulnerablity on hit. When you have 50 chaos to waste, just buy 20-25 pairs and corrupt them yourself. Corrupted gloves (if still have 4 sockets) can be sold back for 1 chaos, so the investment is minimal. Body armor Lorewave is great and all that, but balancing rez and spending some exalts on Lorewave when you just started mapping is not ideal (if you play as a starter). My advice: get a STR ilvl81+ 6-linked non-corrupted body armor. Scour, quality and slam... you guessed right it...essences! You should be able to get a decent one in 1-3 slams. Weapon Hegemony is nice (assuming you play staff), but it ain't cheap. Requirements
Spoiler
Don't even consider getting one before the flask. Moreover, I believe it's not worth investing in the staff before you get some block nodes and at least Whirling Barrier node. This is just my personal opinion. A rare staff/mace with high DPS is cheaper and more effective at this stage. Should you decide to go wit Hegemony, don't bother finding the best one. 1. Buy one with 30% quality and any number of sockets. Otherwise, just get one with the highest dps. Shouldn't be more than 5 chaos. 2. Buy The Jeweller's Touch prophecy. Should be 7-10 chaos. 3. Now you have a 5-link staff, cheap and efficient. By the time you have that Enlighten lvl3/4 you should be able to afford a 6link :) If your staff has 30% quality, you are done. 4. If you staff is still only at 20% qual, get a Craicic Vassal and use it to get 30% quality. Careful, this will corrupt the staff (without breaking it). But if the sockets have the right color, you shouldn't care. Rings Kaom is nice and all that. You can use it if you have rare helm/body so that you can afford missing stats like rez. Otherwise, just go with decent rings. E.g. I used this one, for a long time. Was super cheap and totally worth it
Spoiler
If you have enough currency, go for a rare synthesis ring with the "+1 to endurance charges" implicit
Spoiler
For the other ring, you can go for a Steel ring with some damage. Belt Stygian's are cheap! Buy one ilvl72+ (ideally 84+). Scour it and use 4 catalysts (life or rez, whatever you have) Then slam a rez essence (fire/cold/lightning or chaos)
Spoiler
Aim for at least 2 rez and lots of life. These are small stuff, rather cheap and very efficient to start mapping and getting enough currency to upgrade your gear to the suggestions in the guide. Make sure your rare items can support all the uniques you plan to use. Otherwise, your build will get weaker before it gets stronger. Last edited by Cry0nicS on Oct 2, 2020, 7:52:04 AM

Hi Angryroleplayer,
Still loving the build, but I don't understand the interest of the "chance to taunt enemies with attacks" on the jewel belt: considering the size of the earthshatter, is it really useful? Shouldn't we replace it with "chance to gain Onslaught for 4 seconds on Kill" or "chance to blind enemies with attacks" ? Last edited by televore on Oct 2, 2020, 6:05:57 PM

" it's just the old stuff, from the EQ days, when you wanted to drag more enemies to the center. Not necessary important and can be anything https://www.twitch.tv/angry_roleplayer
