Will Harvest Become Core Path of Exile Content?

Consider making T1 seeds make plants in all squares adjacent to the one clicked that aren't occupied. That would off-set the 10% problem and make placement a bit more strategic. Of course you couldn't pick up a plant and get a seed back.

But my best advice is to simply blend in the more interesting crafts into beast-crafting, and flesh that out a bit more. Right now beast-crafting is way too specialized.

RIP :(

Really sad to hear the best thing you've added isn't getting to stay.

Legion, Blight, Metamorph, Delirium: I'd be happy if we lost them all but could keep the Harvest Bench. It's done more for character development than ANY expansion I've seen since I started.

Really hope to see it back asap as it's made the game much more intractable for someone that doesn't want to sell their soul to trade league.
"In summary, if you're enjoying Harvest in its current form, be sure to take advantage of it while you can!"

Excuse me...? Wtf? Your reasoning for not making Harvest go core into the game is because you would have to rebalance things around it? Is this serious...?

Also, "The standard method of adding mechanics to core gameplay where they gain a 10% chance to appear in maps also doesn't really work for Harvest, as it would mean you would only make growth progress in your Sacred Grove every ten maps which would be dissatisfying and slow."

What is wrong with making the seed caches available in each map exactly...? Or every 2 maps? Why does every league mechanic have to be hidden behind this awful 10% chance to appear in each map mechanic? Surely there must be a way you can balance this in. Harvest needs to go core IMMEDIATELY with the next league, otherwise, it will be back to boring old league mode that I give up on after 1 month, as opposed to Harvest where I would look forward to logging in every single day because it was actually fun.

People are obviously confused as to why you would decide to "fight progress" against something so good that was implemented. Harvest league made me actually realize just how awful the regular crafting system before Harvest was, there was no determinism in anything basically, it was just gambling/casino fashion from drops, and essences or fossil crafting was a joke and a system that barely anyone partook in, including myself. Mainly because there was essentially no determinism and no point in using an essence unless it was on the top end with an essence of hysteria, etc. and don't even get me started on how awful fossils are for "deterministic" crafting. For these reasons, I did not participate in any type of crafting except for the once in a while crafting from the bench before Harvest, now crafting actually feels meaningful and actually fun with Harvest.

I legit have spent more time during Harvest league than any other league I've played combined. Literally every single day I would log on because it was that fun of a league and you want to just take it away because "it would be too difficult to balance around" ?? This can't be serious. Please make Harvest go core with this upcoming league if possible, if not AT LEAST in the next league. How can you bait and switch us with a decent crafting system for once and now just take it away and have us go back to essentially just buying items we need for gear instead of actually having a chance to craft them ourselves? Come on, you yourselves know this league was good. Everything about this league I enjoyed except for the degradable flask enchants (I think those are awful and could be rebalanced to where they are permanent but not as op).

I even wrote a whole forum post on the forums as to why Harvest is one of the best leagues (https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/2921896):

"During some of the other leagues, I found myself kind of stopping playing as much/often as I usually do in the beginning, but with Harvest, I look forward to actually logging on every single day because I know that if I get enough of certain seeds or even save up enough currency to plant certain seeds, I can possibly make each one of my individual gear better than what it already is. I never really understood or even bothered with crafting before this league. Now with Harvest, crafting is actually intuitive for me for once with the help of Poe DB that explains the suffixes and prefixes for items as well as outlines all of the possible prefix/suffix possibilities and what they are tagged as. Like seriously, I never bothered with crafting before this league and I would just buy all the items I needed instead. Now, I can focus on actually saving up for maybe a base I need and craft it myself if I want AND have an option of buying the item instead. So I have options now.

I cannot remember grinding this hard and looking forward to playing a game since I used to have to grind to complete certain quests on Runescape just to wield certain items. Every day with harvest there is potential to get certain rare seeds from seed caches in maps and with certain seeds and the flowers or blossoms (I love the interaction between the flowers/blossoms you can use on your grown seeds), there is a chance to get the right crafts that I need and use them on my gear to make as good of a character as possible. I mean the bosses too, incredible. You can literally set what type of difficulty you want for yourself with the t3-t4 seeds. Some characters can only handle fighting one t4 seed boss at a time. Other ridiculously OP characters can choose to play against 4-5+ t4 seeds in one plantation for a real challenge to see if they can do it, in combination with say 5 delirium orb maps.

It's so fun honestly. I love the boss fights as well, especially the blue t4 seed boss that makes your character experience a flashbang/stun grenade effect that deafens you for a moment, slightly even disorienting your senses for a second during the fight, very, very cool. I also really like the 24 challenge harvest cloak, one of the best looking challenge reward mtx I have seen in a while. I love the building aspect of Harvest as well, really reminds me of Factorio and I love optimizing my grove in a way that makes the collectors with certain seeds as close to me as possible and having the most efficient harvest setups for t4 and even just regular t1 seed layouts. I enjoy the Oshabi boss fight mechanic as well and always look forward to fighting Oshabi every 200 maps. I love the new infused labs especially with the belt enchants as well as the new infused beachheads that give you the new upgraded versions of the harbingers uniques (Immortal Will is my favourite). There is so much more that I think I am forgetting to mention, but there is just so much with this league that is so good tbh. Overall, I think Harvest is a very fun and addicting league in my opinion and I hope that it will be here to stay in the future."

The only people I have seen actually complain about Harvest are the people who literally have no idea what they are doing in the game or can't take 2 seconds out of their day to figure out an intuitive system or the elitists in the grey market who want to hoard all of the op items and gear to themselves without giving players a chance of crafting a good item for themselves for once without dishing out an absurd amount of currency for their items.

Anyway, please don't make the mistake of ditching this league, I think you will make a lot of players disappointed, to say the least. I myself will legitimately be very disappointed if Harvest does not go core...

Thats cool ! to be expected aswell.
However it would be greatly appreciated if you would tell us what implications that have for seeds and garden in standard upon merge.

Loved the crafting, hated the garden. As for it being too easy, if you mean now it is actually possible to craft things then yeah I guess it's too easy.
I just checked on the Path of Exile community and I'm over the moon to see the response to Harvest! Even when you're super confident in a launch, you're always afraid people will hate it or something terrible will happen. It's such a relief and a joy to see how happy everyone is! - Bex 20 Jun 2020
please add more options for attribute levels and mana crafting, those are really annoying
