Are you referring to the players buying crafts in Discord?

Because for players not buying crafts, it takes a week or more to farm enough crafts required for one item.

This is true. Being able to buy and trade seeds (which some players did exclusively and never used seeds themselves, or the crafts they yielded) is a majority part of the people.

Doing seeds yourself, and depending on the item you are crafting, You are still locked behind some decent rng aka time
Did anyone really expect deterministic mirror-tier crafting to become core? Come on guys.... GGG nerfed multicrafting because it was too powerful.

i have noticed that most people who are mainly against it are the people who used to craft with the RNG based crafting and spending hours and hours then sell for a ton of exalts and are not able to do so anyomore. i think deterministic crafting right now is over-powered, but it is necessary moving forward. RNG based crafting to add difficulty is old news. deterministic crafting ensures that even as you call them "ultra casuals and rednecks" are able to build a great build with what small amount of time that they have.

TBH tho it should be nerfed as it makes it reaching end-game too easy, making the crafts rarer and such i think would be great and healthy for the player base.


also please no more garden just make a bench or something with prophecy like things u can pick up with certain crafts on them or something.

Harvest is my second season, and while I´ve love the game and really enjoyed playing Delirium, I think Harvest made crafting accessible for players with a short time to play. I would really like to be able to reach a satisfying end game without felling the punish that is the regular crafting mode. For sure full-time players will hate this idea, but I think you can aim for middle ground here. Probably Oshabi can appear and take you to a fully grown field that you can harvest with random seed in it, a mechanic similar to Alva with the pyramid.

That ! Harvest league is the best Poe experience I had since years, I played this league twice more time than usual on ONE SINGLE CHARACTER (instead of 3 or 4) because I had a true satisfying feeling of progression and poursuing a goal ! As I wrote before :

If you care about ruining the economy of 3 months lasting 3rd tier website botting trade based game (lol), just make 7L helmet/Elusive tailwind boots/explode curse chest much harder (or even impossible) to get deterministically, because we all know it's all about this kind of items. And let the real players (players, not paid workers) playing finally the character THEY WANT because there is a way to enjoy it ! Did you know SSF exist or you deeply think we all want to be the next Empyrian ? If those kind of people get bored because the game is too easy when they play it 10h/day with 8 third tier websites and spredsheets opened with 2k viewers helping them and trading services promoted by their visibility (hello TarkeCat), THEY HAVE a problem with the way they think the game, not all 99.9% others. I mean, if you paid any attention to the real stats of the real players of your game you should know for example that we all dont need a damn Delirium dedicated tab ! You think we do because you watch only 0.001% of players who get (*ahem* trade sorry *ahem*) to many delirium orbs so they need a proper way to sort them, same for all your last stupid core league mechanic dedicated tabs. It's the purest admission you're completely out of touch of most players !

Balancing the game around them is absolutely not even elitism GGG, it's purely hipster blind narcissism. Non-streamers trading players are done with having to counterbalance RNG gated walls made for 10h/day playing people (with half spent waiting in hideout and whispering afk dudes until getting finally a bot !). Harvest dropped because of the garden design and nothing else. Do you really think the big drop of harvest is due to affordable mirror tier items ? Were the 150k players drop in the first two weeks only composed of owners of multiple mirror tier items who were insta phasing Sirus A8 or Aul at Delve 3500 so they all quit ? If you're not hypocritical you know the answer and so deterministic crafting is vital for your game by now, and you must learn to differentiate a rich system and a convoluted system (like complex and complicated), because THIS will kill your game, not the fact it's becoming enjoyable for non-professionnal traders.

Harvest mirror item exploit wasn't about crafting, but about buying services on discord !

thanks for the heads up.

my impression is that Harvest itself as a mechanic is very good for the game, as basically everything else in the game has some kind of wide-range RNG. It enables me to actually "plan" my build rather than heavily relying on trade or lucky drops.

What really kind of "pisses me off" in PoE right now is mapping. God I hate mapping right now. It becomes very, very boring after like 1000+ maps in a season, and there's lots of clicking, almost purposelessly "walking and dashing around" because none of the monsters drop anything meaning for, and it feels very repetitive, but not in the good way if you want to farm anything. If you compare D2 boss farming vs. POE map farming, it just feels so different. I guess it comes down to SSF vs. trade so that loot needs to be downgraded so that trade will not be overpowered, but still, it sucks.

For Harvest and 3.12, I really, really hope that we can find some alternative vs. maps. Please. I hate mapping so much right now.

Why should you ever pick up any other items ever again besides influenced bases? Remove Harvest. It does harm so much the game, people do not recognize it.

In what world have you seen fossils as deterministic crafting ? They barely avoid "some" affixes from being rolled in a stream of mulriple affixes layed in RNG...


Google the definiton of deterministic before posting crap like this and we might talk again.


a deterministic system is a system in which no randomness is involved in the development of future states of the system. A deterministic model will thus always produce the same output from a given starting condition or initial state.
