How are you guys affording to do this? I know this league prices seem to be high, but I've hit such a wall I'm debating just stopping play.
I've done the budget 2ex phase of the build (Ritual version before the update to Ultimatum) pretty well. It was super fun playing through the core game. And it's carried me into red maps, but that seems to be it. I can't progress anymore. I've got 19 watchstones now, and am playing T14+ maps (assuming I have some). I want to progress to the new 6ex budget crit phase of the build, but the prices are just crazy for these items. The armor alone is cheapest 4ex right now. The weapon is 1ex. That's almost the entire 6ex budget. I don't understand how you guys are making all the currency to afford to upgrade. It's like I need to progress through Sirius and beat him before I can start to make any currency (is that how you make currency the best... I don't even know??). But in order to do that I need to upgrade. But in order to upgrade I need the currency. But in order... catch 22. Like I have 2ex and 480c. So like a total of 5 ex. So I can buy the armor + weapon. Never mind everything else. I dunno. I'm just... worn out I guess. I get the game is a grind. But this just isn't fun anymore. Thanks for the build. " I took a look at your gear, I think you are supposed to drop the blood rage because the degen will prevent the energy shield recharge. Also, you need a corrupted blood immune abyssal jewel on the belt, this will prevent you from getting one-shotted by the beam. Another thing is to use my updated mid-budget guide, it has the most updated information, of course you don't have to run precision since you already have the 100% hit chance craft. " I definitely understand the build can be a bit overwhelming to new players. One most important thing that I learned in POE over the years is being flexible at gear choices. For example, in the 6ex early crit gear, even though replica loreweave is listed, you can still use a 30c 6L (like the one in 2ex build) and it should give you a similar end result. For example, I used the 6ex POB and equip a cheap 15c 6L chest armour, it still gives me 17.3M max damage, the build becomes ~66% cheaper while the damage is only 15% lower. Making the best out of current situation and then solving problems is what I enjoyed the most. Once you are in that mindset, then you will enjoy the game more. Hi,
First thanks for the guide, I've been dying to play a strength oriented character for a while, but never found one that I like. It's seem to be the first :). I have two questions thought: - I see that you're not running fortify as a spell support anymore, and I failed to see where the fortify buff is coming from (since it is still on on PoB) - I'm wondering moving toward your transcendence + crit update since I'd like to OS a bit more bosses (while it still managable, some take a while with my gear). But I was wondering how it felt agaisnt bosses: since it might be hard to have basalt up all the time against bosses, the phys red seems to be on the low side no ? " Hey, on the mid-budget i craft with fossils the body armour with additional curse and crit. So far my build is working well, but my problem is that in the next league i will be not able to craft the body armour without to know how. Is my second league that i play and i need some time to understand how all works. |

" Hi, thanks for catching the fortify in the config, I made a mistake and now the 6ex POB is corrected. about the transcendence + crit, that's why we start to use immortal call starting mid-budget gear, if you read the mid-budget gear transcendence section, you will see how immortal call can provide phys protection.
