Im done..
" There are many ways to balance things. Implementing 1 shots is not the way I would have gone (or preferred). Some off the top of my head examples: -Remove flask charges, they refill in town (or just remove flasks). -Bosses reset to full hp if you log out or portal out (or die in the case of softcore). -Less map portals (I guess minim 6 for multiplayer, or maybe just spawn 1 for each player in party, and you can only use 1) -Cap damage bosses can take based on fight duration (they already have some mechanics of this type already) -Cap damage PLAYERS can take from full life (only works with reduced ways to heal yourself ofc). As I said, just some of the way to go. Instead of 1 shot mechanics. |

i really hope someday i can find those "oneshots" ppl complain about.
unless i run a absolutly stupid map mod combination (including sextants) or stay in heavily telegraphed boss attacks,i just cant find them. maybe one day i will be lucky enough to encounter them this just reminds me of the thread we had a few days ago, where someone was compaling about 1 shots even though he had 3800 hp (with 21 points in lifenodes) and the best gear that exist in the game. btw he was using on a spellslinger build with other questionable uniq items |

What? I have 2.5k life and even I can reach level 92. Now granted I could be 95 easily if all I did was delving but hey, 3 skill points are not that big of a deal.

" Try playing with 4 specters and 9 zombies running around (possibly taunting targets in random directions), see how many of those "heavily telegraphed" attacks you see. Or why not stand next to a couple of minions when a Flame Sentinel shotguns them. Or heck, why not get offscreen killed by bugged out Blight monsters leaving the paths tossing 10+ grouped up fireballs. You basically just have to play more and you will find them. |

I thought temporary leagues usually show the direction where the game is going, and releasing Harvest after Delirium is like a total slap in the face.
I am also done, probably not with the game but with the league for sure, when I ignore temp league, all that's left is repeating grind as none of the new content (skill) after couple hours of testing are fun or interesting. The complexity revolving around crafting In PoE is PhD level of modded Minecraft type of shit. Not really that interesting when it comes to ARPG genre. I represent only myself, my own thought and believes. I am individual, not a representative of the community.
I am not speaking on behalf of someone else and I don't get offended by things that have nothing to do with me. 3.13 was the golden age. |

Just uninstalled the game. Don’t like it’s current state nor where it’s heading. Like I said in that other thread: It’s just a very unpleasant game to play at right now, and kind of a train wreck in the making. I’m honestly surprised that more people aren’t quitting TBH, because this ain’t it, GGG.

" You're not the only one ( I don't think I've uninstalled though, but I haven't touched it for many months ). Looking at the steam charts, the league lots half of its population ( more considering many there have likely just been playing standard ) in two weeks, and it keeps going down of course. The more it goes, the worse it gets it seems. SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

depends what is endgame in your eyes.
t16 maps? its 2 days playtime and u shred them. simulacrum? yeah, you prob need to farm a bit longer. i play this league for less then 2 weeks now and i spend 200ex on gear and my tabs are not even close to empty. there is no "endless" grind. play 2 days and u can beat every content if you play softcore. if you play hc then yeah, just dont. hc is so dead its not fun these days. EDIT: and this league is insane tbh. one of the best leagues i played and i played many. there is no rng, just pure strategy about using resources. its something different and i personaly like it a lot. I've barely started this league and was mainly messing around with build ideas... I think this league looks good, but I don't like the direction of the nerfs and pigeonholing in characters builds.
As someone else said earlier, just because someone makes a build that's almost exploitative when using expensive, perfectly crafted end game gear, seems unreasonable to nerf that skill so it's worthless for most other players. If it's a build that makes the game easy, then the gear combo etc you need for it will raise in price with popularity which in it's own way is a level of balance on top of the nerf. I'm someone that's never done shaper/elder either. But generally it's not because I die too quickly etc, but because I just can't grind efficiently/get bored of the grind to care in the end. I'm okay with that though, as I enjoy the amount I play up until I don't and come back next league. I'd say in game they probably need strong tips focused around helping you build for people that have trouble with life/one shotting etc and for people like me help in even understanding how to map well and where to get currency effectively (best league I did I had like 10ex and a couple 100 chaos or something). But I'm tired of the lack of interesting options and combo's you could come up with, especially when something gets nerfed, put into a set role/class and forgotten about for years until it gets a rework or attention. Have been waiting for years for an Animate Guardian rework for example, where you could link an attack skill to it. Instead it ends up as... a Warcry... haha fml. |
