Changes to Harvest Crafting

Thanks for the Info Bex, don't be too hard on yourself.
kuddos for disclosing this and not sweeping under the rug as usual. Wonder though if it wasnt for reddit outcry - if anything would have been done.

This just shows the abysmal quality state that PoE has become in the last couple of years. Blame tencent, i think its just simple complacancy and not giving a flying frack about player base and people.

While some positive emotions did come from reading this post, overall emotion - mind blown as to the joke that GGG has become and its raw bug-infested so-called "leagues"
Will this patch include the cluster jewel changes?
I for one, don't mind the delay, nor the mistake, as long as it's being worked on and doesn't take like 2 months it's fine by me.

On a side note, I hope that player retention does not impact this league going core or not, since it really is a good league, people just jumped the gun on leaving it early.
I have returned to PoE after one challenge league break, skipped Delirium, only to find the game in worse state than when I left it--technical performance is poor, Vulkan does not work for me and the league is a mess.

Reading this news post completely blows my mind--how can you let a failed hot fix linger for a week rather than reversing it--and also reaffirm my decision not to spend anymore money on PoE. Recent leagues I played in were all marred by technical issues, bad design choices and gradual deterioration of quality.

I still love Path of Exile but as a long time player, now on more casual side, I'm not happy with the trend this game is at for last quite a while now.
Thanks!
i would usually write something sarcastic and troll a bit, but the only reaction harvest gets out of me is shaking my head in disbelief. my god, was synthesis good in hindsight.

Jumped the gun? The league is essentially standard with a horribly unoptimized and cumbersome crafting gimmick thrown in. Players who’ve opted out of this league aren’t missing anything imho. I’ll be switching to D3 season 21 when it starts on Friday.

Wow great, thanks. This league I thought I could craft something by myself. I was seeing augment an item with physical/other modifiers regularly while levelling. It got me excited. And then at maps, I think I had like 2 of them. Very good. This mentality of "try a 1000 times to get something remotely good" isn't very long lasting. There will always be players who make god tier items. And if you only cater to that, you will just hurt the more casual players more and more. Crafting is already so convoluted without trying a fossil combo 20 times or sitting down with 10 exalts and metacrafting. Even if i did understand crafting well, the cost of making a good item that would be viable for endgame is absurd. You said this leaague you "broke" the game. When all it is is just more rerolls with maybe 1 guranteed type modifier. Great job.
Any fixed to map sustain? My guikd is quitting in droves because we can't sustain red maps regardless of juicing, trading, master missions, etc.

As a few others have said, I dont understand the 25-40% increase. Given that most of us never saw a single instance of these mods, increasing an outcome that was less than 1% before, by 40%, still means the probability is roughly 1% still.
