Tentative Announcement of the Announcement

Regardless of it's title, can we please just call this one "Pandemic League"? How often can we actually call it this?!?

Keep up the awesome work guys, 1 week, 2 weeks, 3 weeks more, whatever, every content addition is a great expansion and welcome addition, along with one step closer to PoE2... so take your time.

Friendly weekly reminder, increase boss map drop rates to almost indefinitely 1 map on a boss of the same tier, regardless of quality, sextants, rarity, etc, so the end game can finally play into itself. Those other stuff should add to more random maps of all tiers (which they do, I admit... but of lower tiers ofc), and not be the go to formula for almost getting a 1:1 ratio of same tier maps :)

Btw, its a habit now, I count maps when I remember and their drops on T14 and above, don't count smaller tier maps I run, haven't missed one yet.

With rare maps, 20%, sextants, even cartographer scarabs, all but the kitchen sink at this point, my current ratio is 31 T14-T16 used, got 24 T14-T16 maps. So yeah, friendly reminder, these numbers create an end game that does not work into itself even when you toss in all those resources actually. Id expect to be at the very least 1:1 on same tier maps all the time. Bonus maps dropped from extra things added to the map device, qualities, rarities, etc, should go for bonus maps, not getting what is the base to allow you to keep playing the end game (and not have to sit there and pray 5 maps later to be able to continue a conqueror region).

This is actually understandable especially when a lot of companies were affected by this pandemic. Im still glad that we are able to play this game despite all this so thank you for your hardwork GGG. I hope you guys stay safe.

Under these circumstances in which we've found ourselves in, I really don't see the need for a new expansion yet. Why not just launch a Flashback league? You know like Essence with a Twist...

The Twist being a new essence type called Dual-Essence in which you would have to collect a certain amount of Essence Elixer Shards that would drop along with the regular essences, and over a period of time collecting these Elixer Shards, you can then use the full elixer to craft a new Dual-Essence utilizing any 2 essences obtained up to and including Deafening Essences.

The Elixers wouldn't work with the special Essences (Delerium, insanity, and the other two) but it would give players more flexability to craft what they need for their particular builds.

Oh and a Flashback league would buy the dev team some time to coordinate and polish a better and more stable product at launch without the extra rework needed to fix bug after bug after every update.

In the event of a postponed launch, will the Delirium league be extended beyond its scheduled end?

I'm proud of you for staying safe. If you have to push back the date, you have to push back the date! Hell, you could give us a flashback league and I'd be happy to just have something, you know? Things have been hellish. I've got your back.
