So my final thought about this @f1rstborn build, STAY AWAY FROM THIS BUILD NEXT LEAGUE, GGG!!!

Unsuccessfully tried again last night to roll that large cluster jewel.

Wound up with Supercharge on it before stopping. I read at some point that this was a good notable for lightning EO builds, but PoB doesn't seem all that impressed. Does the high flat base damage that Archmage provides render Supercharge basically pointless by narrowing the range of possible lighting damage rolls--a range that is typically very wide on the skill gem--to something proportionally narrow?

Exactly.

A lucky roll on a 15 - 350 window has a great impact.
A lucky roll on 3015-3350 window has almost no impact.

I believe the fairly complex layering of defense that makes us unkillable will go untouched. Storm brand, or more likely, brand recall, is going to get some attention. Even with a 50% nerf to damage... you're still golden.

I'm 100% positive for the defensive layer staying like that.

I'm afraid of a nerf to archmage though, that scale your source of defense intoo damage. Archmage is overpowered for stormbrand or blade vortex (maybe winter orb?) and crap for the skills one needs to spam. So in a way it's pretty niche which gives me hopes it's untouched. But a support gem that adds 3000 flat damage is broken.

Getting the Scintillating Idea + 2 Jewel Sockets is hard enough, but than regaling the Corrosive Elements is only a 1,52% chance!

Yeah, you did still get lucky, haha. I've sunk a few thousand alts into it without success. Good news is when you finally get what you want, you can slam it with an ex and hopefully get a useful third notable!

I'd be lying if I told you I didn't just give up and buy the damn thing.

How come when I build with pretty much the same items, my POB only shows about 1/6th of your POB damage? When I import my items onto your POB it just drops. What am I missing?

the playstyle feels crappy,i loose brands i have to stop and cast them and a lot of the time die,the RF kills me...sick and tired so frustrating i just wanna delete the stupid game

ok one of the problems was that i didnt set the recall on space and keep it pressed
