China Version of poe is waybetter

Abort!
♤ ♡ ♢ ♧ - ♧ ♢ ♡ ♤
It weird that there is no one shot in the China POE version.

When it occurs, it will be investigated for possible wrong numbers and bugs seriously.
Auto pickup and tree planner are pure quality of life, I know people have different views on AH, but even you white knights havent mounted a defense of picking up random orbs of scouring that drop.

Any rabid ggg defenders want to jump in and say why thats so fun in game?
The US version has things close to that. Cause GGG doesn't care anymore...

"Trade scripts" "follow scripts" "loot vacuum scripts" "stash sorting scripts" "auto open chests scripts" "flask scripts" "log out scripts" And that's just from goggle.... can't manage if I used a real search engine what would pop up.

Thay will remove posts but do nothing about the shit-talking, bot's, scripts, and such in-game.

I know I would enjoy 2 things that I think would take this game to the next level from a QoL perspective.

1) The auto loot would be a nice feature. When you see 1000 fusings sitting in your bank, you come to the realization you have clicked 1000 times just to pick those up, not to mention other items. It would be a nice addition.

2) Auto deposit feature - would be nice if I could go to my bank, when I have completed a map, open it & just click on auto deposit instead of going through 6+ tabs to put my stuff away. If you own the tab (Currency / Maps / Essence / Delve etc.), then it deposits your items for you automatically.

While I would have no issues paying for the above, I can see how this would be classified as P2W.

west players prefer the raw experience! but then they cant maximize their game and 40% of them have to play broken builds
Gives streamers & friends queue priority and leaves supporters who spent hundreds $ packs in the 100k queue.

GGG: Don't you guys follow streamers?
apparently it has a death log

And as would be typical of the players atm there would be a lot of screaming about how bone husks are OP and need to get nerfed all because it got the killing blow.
coupled with being full of themselves and ignoring the mods, like the monsters do more damage, attack faster, extra damage from phys to elemental (fire, cold and light) AND having -40 resistances ontop of the monsters mods.

So totally useless and not better.

From my experience playing on the CN servers:

Just some of the QOL benefits include a fully supported 1-click auction system, they have a customisable flask macro, they have an expanded stash (1 third bigger than the capacity of our's) compared to players on the global server.

The real benefit of their trade system / auction house is not often discussed. It's not being able to search the in-game auction site, it's that you can search up anything via poe.trade like normal and then trigger the auto-trade straight away once back in your hideout (https://www.twitch.tv/guccipradas/clip/ThankfulNastyGrasshopperLeeroyJenkins?filter=clips&range=7d&sort=time).

They also get unlimited free skill tree changes before your character hit's L70. Speaking of levelling, while doing Act 1-10, the side missions that don't grant skill points for the tree will give you an otherwise no-value unique item that's actually helpful for your type of character (different bosses give different Str/Int/Dex based uniques). Hardcore players were getting one free "resurrection token" per league - to help negate deaths caused by GGG's server issues (not sure if that's still the case - although separate to that you could buy additional tokens anyway as part of the P2W stuff they had as an option). To make sure this doesn't effect their leaderboards, the token can only be used once on a character and only before level 95.

There's also a fully supported in-game passive skill tree planner (https://www.twitch.tv/guccipradas/clip/HumbleApatheticMushroomCorgiDerp?filter=clips&range=7d&sort=time). This save a tremendous amount of time and is fantastic for new or inexperienced players.

They have additional end game content we don't. One such mode is a timed boss dungeon rush, where you have a time limit to clear as many "floors" as you can. Every floor is a number of rooms full of enemies, then a boss. Every level get's harder the deeper you go.

They also have mid-league community races fully supported in-house by Tencent and still have end-league flashback 10-day and shorter race/temp-leagues. If you think GGG finally deciding to bring on an additional staffer to create race support content was something driven by support from the global servers - think again. That request definitely came from Tencent.

They also have significantly more pre-league hype and explanations of what's being added into the coming league, including not just showing snippets of this content to their streamers to advertise for them, but actually helping them create suggested build guides or build archetypes for the new content in their forums.

They have a really good system to reduce the issue of botting and scammers where they bind currency drops to your character until a certain amount of the way through the Act1-10 progression. Botting and scamming is way less prevalent as a result. You really don't come across bots or scammers on the CN servers very much and finding players to buy currency and items from is never an issue at any point of the league either because they have a proper trade system.

They also get different and additional challenge rewards and MTX to what we receive each league. Then on top of that, you can sell or swap those MTX items with other players if you don't want them.

None of the above features are part of their P2W content either. It's simply just the additional QOL and game content the full version of the game has, compared to what we get dumped with on the global servers.

This isn't even close to the whole list either, it's just what I can remember off the top of my head.

QOL in poe is probably the worst thing about the game, maybe performance,

GGG seem to only care about getting leagues out (no matter how unfinished or broken) to sell support packs, now that's probably not the case but that's how it feels to me when i see death logs on china version yet we were told that cant be done because there are too many calculations going on or something along them lines.

I'm probably one of those "white knights" you're talking about, just because I usually disagree with you. You don't seem to handle that very well, without throwing me in a box based on my opinions. It's a widespread suppression technique in lack of arguments. It's OK, I forgive you.

It all about the basics of an RPG game where loot is a central central part. I couldn't dream about playing any ARPG where I don't pick up my loot. It just goes against the genre (in my eyes).

On top of that, I think we need more elements to "fight" the increasing focus on speed, not less elements. I want more elements to interact with in the world, not less. I want more reasons to stop, not less.

That's my opinion in auto pick-up.

When it comes to a tree planner - or trading - I'm all for adding those into the game. The less 3rd party apps we need, the better.
Sometimes, just sometimes, you should really consider adapting to the world, instead of demanding that the world adapts to you.
