There's a seed called "augment fire" (or something like that). If all prefixes are blocked then there are only 2 options for the augment: +fire rez and -9 fire rez. Make sure you have one and craft the other.

In other words: I spammed alts + regals (about 800 alts and 50 regals) until I got fire rez + elemental damage (crit-multi would have been just as good, but I needed double rez).

At this point, there are 2 ways forward, depending on how the regal went.

Option 1: Helm already has 2 prefixes and 1 suffix occupied.
=> block the last prefix (any random bench craft)
=> use the "augment fire" seed craft. This will guaranty you get the -9 fire rez

Option 2: Helm already has 2 suffixes and 1 prefix (this was my case)
=> I used the bench to craft life and used the seed "remove a life modifier, add a life modifer" (or something like that) to get the extra ES+Life craft.
=> Craft something else with the bench to make sure all 3 prefixes are reserved
=> slam "augment fire".

Those that are super greedy can go for Elemental damage, crit multi AND -9 fire rez. But with unique boots and gloves, I needed double rez on the helm.

Total cost for my craft: 40c the base, 2 ex for the warlord's orb and ~100c in alterations and regals. Plus the 2 seed crafting options (augment fire and life). Getting those seed took me a bit of farming...

P.S. After the helm is crafted, you can use yet another seed to change a rez type into another rez type, keeping the same tier. I changed my fire rez on cold rez, to cover my needs.

Ah, the fact you didn't have fire res confused me!
I think the trick you used on the life roll has been patched out? I haven't tried it for a few days so I'm not sure. If so, makes it a bit harder to roll.

I need to get some play time in and get some currency before I try anything like this anyway, still need to sort out my other gear first!

Don't think so.

Weapons are a pain to craft tho. I can't get that stupid 90+% spell damage AND flat damage...

Well, mines are mines. Need to be detonated, so clunky. Pyroclast has very lackluster aoe and clearspeed tbh. Single target damage is comparable. Eye cancer :)

I'm also curious about Thread of Hope (Large Ring) nodes. I also don't see them in PoB unless I'm doing something wrong.

I watched your video from last season and used that to allocate the nodes, but am unable to put a point in Saboteur because it falls outside the radius now.

The tree appears to have shifted with 3.11 or am I missing something? If so, what do you recommend instead? See screenshot below. Thanks.
