With level 4 enlighten, you should be able to save 1 passive point in the Sovereignty cluster. Respec 2 "4% reduced mana reservation" nodes and allocate the aura effect node instead. If you think this is not worth the cost of level 4 elighten, you can goback to level 3.

I tried that but ended up with 9mana left in total. I do think i lack Int stats for that to work. I really can't see any other problems then that

Since the big nerfs to ball lightning, I've been leveling with arc. Playing the glancing blows/es on block variant with pretty good success. Heists feel great, haven't died yet.

So far with arc, damage is a bit low -- no issues clearing maps, doing delve depth ~250, or killing conquerors, but sirus gets a bit sketchy with how long the fight lasts. Calculating about 2M DPS with all buffs/flasks, 1M without. I'd share PoB but pastebins appear to be blocked right now (?).

Is there an easy ball lightning single target DPS calc right now? Previously I was doing 10x for AoE and 10x for zaps per second (from the PoB single hit damage calc), but not sure what it is now with the nerf. I'd be curious to see what I'd gain swapping to ball lightning (at least for single target).

I haven't done an experiment in game, but I believe that BL hits 7 times per cast if you have 21/20 cyclone, level 20 slower projectiles and 40% increased AoE from the passive tree.
