A company's hiring let's say good for nothings like you. You come to the interview, get the impression the job is yours.
Am I hired?
Yes, sign the papers.
You sign the papers but they don't - till Monday.
You rent an appartment, buy stuff, take some loans, our little Incarcerated got a job after all.

I hope this answers your question.

Who rents an apartment, takes out loans, buys stuff before even getting paid? This persons problems are the result of their own foolish actions, not the workplace's. Did this person read the paper they were signing? Was it a binding employment contract, or just an offer letter? This fictional person sounds like a real failure at life and should probably stop blaming everyone else for the problems he created for himself.

They're the same person that clicks accept on a trade without looking at the item they're buying, then come to the forum to cry.

Except you HAVE to start working before you get paid. Nobody in office jobs or whatever company will get paid in advance. Some reimburse new workers for their moving, but not all of them.

You're all missing the point, which is you have to take the company's (in this case, GGG's) word for things that will or will not happen to the job (game) in the near future.
Once they say it's fine, you got the job (for the denser reader, in this case we're talking about leaving a certain build alone until league end), you either:
1. Trust them, buy the required stuff before the build becomes even more known and everything has an insane price tag, or
2. Don't trust them, miss out on the window of opportunity, and on all the fun you could have had back when the build cost 5 ex instead of 100 ex.

From now on, i'll be doing the latter.
I didn't even play any guardian just wanted to do Ice Shot things :/ nerf still affects me too.

Why is it that whenever I'm in a town or in my hideout, my resolution gets pixelated and pretty much unplayable, but when I'm out doing a map or wherever, the resolution is fine?

Town (and hideout) is lava.

If we take this analogy, you should realize yourself that sometimes even though the HR-person told you you've got the job, the top management might decide that they won't hire anyone for the time being because of bad company performance. The HR-person did not lie to you, the management didn't decide this to screw you, and still in the end you will be without job and in most cases if you've spent money for your move, you will have lost it.

Even if there was a contract signed already, if you have not yet started your job you can be let go immediately (at least in countries I know). Again, with no ability of yours to get any money for moving (or quitting your old job) back.

Yes, that sucks. And nobody did anything wrong there. You were correct in trusting the HR-person, the HR-person was correct in assuming that hiring would continue and the management was correct in doing their job and taking care of the numbers. That ultimately led to a shitty situation for everyone but sometimes that is how it is and starting to not trust anyone ever again won't make your life better - nor will it prevent you from these situations. But changing your ways, being angry and upset, becoming cyncial will make your life worse. That wouldn't be worth it if you got the situation changed - but in most cases you won't. Be angry, than grief your losses, accept the situation and look forward to playing another build this league, new skills in the next or maybe a completely different game. All of that will make you happier than being upset continously about a change that nobody wanted to do at this time but was deemed necessary.

(That of course is meant for everyone that is still upset and raging, your post was just the right entry point but I don't mean to judge how you feel or even imply I know your feelings at all)
wanted to play guardian, got half the gear, got my friend to play - rip.

thanks GGG. you suck
think its a fair patch

I guess you didn't learn

The build you guys were making was overpowered and could even consider an exploit, you were just creating a game and the people using the build should be ashamed, not me btw I only made 643 exalted selling the cluster jewels you were using for such an exploit.

Please quit poe if all you can do is wine when they destroy a build you copied.

The build was an exploit face. :) you all are just but hurt and 98% of Poe community was against the build. we rather don't have people like you and everyone else copying those builds, we might as well vote in the forum to have all the exploiters be banned and we will be fine.

Hail Chris!.
