So this fucker was using Purposeful Harbinger aura stack and couldnt get killed? nerf incoming for you asshole!

While I do think the communication about it could have been better, the changes do "feel" more like a "fix" rather than a "nerf".
Admittedly I say this without ever having played the build in question but just watching streamers play their variations of it; it made the game look more like a horribly balanced wc3 fun map rather than a game with any claim to seriousness. So allowing this kind of gameplay to persist on a large scale for the rest of the league might not have been the best look.
What actually surprises me though is the amount of people seemingly affected by this, seeing as the gear was/is quite expensive and not something the largest part of the playerbase would have the currency to buy anyway; perhaps the RMT meme isn't so far off after all.

Anyway I think the change was warranted but suboptimally implemented; for future leagues I'd wish for more consistent and reliable communication by GGG and if that means no statement until a decision is reached, just let reddit cry for a while next time; turns out they'll do that either way.

just genuily curious, where did they go back on their word, personally i can not remember any instance of those (though i did not really pay much attention to this stuff in the first place)

ah and don't bother saying "last week" since this is clearly fixing a gamebreaking bug (otherwise people should have been outraged last week when they fixed negativ auras affecting builds).

People saying all the time in this thread GGG going back on their word, i want to know which promises did they break, just for personal information.
So far not a single person did mention any broken promises.

That is a clear change of behaviour.

Skills that were not auras are getting buffs to auras.

If you don't see the issue with that, then you are beyond help.

Its now same as passives like leadership, and it not work for guardian. Mb you shoud try to play few builds befor posting ur expert opinion?

I am thinking the same too. It is downright stupidity if they cant play without the OP 75% block. They still got the 75% block and 90% phy from the exploiting. They are stronger than any pre 3.10 and yet they are crying because their es can't regen fast enough?

Or their skills dont last longer than the majority of the players.

LoL, so I read some more comments, and as I already stated, Im already moving on from the build, and going into insane broken herald/aura stacking archemage unleash arc, so im fine, still will be breaking the game, one shotting everything that comes my way. But I read some more comments and as I do agree about not feeling bad about the RMTers, like yeah, fuck them right? but the thing is, there are people out there like myself who traded in their build and current and farmed the voices, and crafted all of the jewels, which was a pain in the ass btw because alts were like crazy expensive at the time, I was paying up to almost 2.5 exalts for 1200 alts, and so I was trading every fusing and other shit I had for alts and farming them. so in their defense, they did say they wouldn't mid league kill it and then to have them say they are going to kill it (I am not trying to use words like bugs or nerfs because it is sort of a bug fix, bex did call it a "huge mid-league nerf" though soooo) im sure that's what mostly is pissing people off, yes the RMTers are probably even more salty, but do feel for the ones that didn't. but hey, like I said, there are sooooo many more broken mechanics right now in the game, and they aren't going to fuck with anything else until league ends, so cmon guys, lets keep exploiting these stackable notables as long as we can, move on and lets get it!!!!

Mb you will try get to red maps 11 challanges dude?
Or mb you will find video with some really broken builds wich exist befor 3.10? Totally immune to dmg, FULL map AoE, 1 shot everything. And nothing of this was fixe mid ligue.

Not sure why so aggresive, but unwavering faith is affected by aura effectiveness. If that is not the case, then the poe wiki is stating wrong facts.

to clarify what i mean, its not an skill aura, but it adds an effect to your skill auras, which is increased by aura effectiveness. So yes, it should still get multiplied by PH.
