The biggest problem I saw is your weapons, check the weapon section cus I've covered everything you need to know, especially your second weapon (right one).

Next would be your belt, get a flask effect belt and reduce flask charges used affixes on them, also you need more flat life and mana.

You naturally won't do any damage, so you need to rely on arcane cloak for the damage boost, sometimes you have to result in using RF for more damage.

Bear trap is also potential damage increase, do use it because the damage bonus is an amount.

The main problem will be your weapon, do note that I've said "Adds # to # lightning damage" will not increase BL damage

Can someone please explain to me why the claw nodes are taken?

Can someone explain the gameplay style a little? Am I spamming Arcane Cloak on cooldown and mana flasks, or is there timing involved (given that AC takes away a large portion of mana)? I just want to make sure I'm not doing it wrong.

Yeah you just spam Arcane Cloak and all of your flask all the time basically, if you can't time it right, just bind your arcane cloak to Bound Skill 1 (basically change your move only into arcane cloak, you will still able to walk), this wil allow you to consistently proc arcane cloak whenever the cooldown is over.

There's no timing involved, just make sure you have your mana flask up all the time then you are good

I never played with mines before, do we just hold down the detonate button and toss mines or do we try and place as many mines in advance first before detonating?

I would prefer holding the detonate button since its easier but I don't know if we suffer many drawbacks for doing so.

You can hold down the detonate mines, that's what I did most of the time, yes there are some draw backs but it is not that huge.

When you can preload your mines just stack as many as you can then detonate, if during boss fights you can just hold it no problem.
