[3.10] Aziire's Kinetic Bolt Elementalist - Thor and the Golem Gang! | League Starter

@Devilsgamer
<3 Enjoy the build :D

@Volband
<3 Yeah he really wound himself up, always entertaining though

@Sv3rr3
Thank for the feedback! I found pretty much the exact same. Currently using GMP in my Tabula. Will make a video update with my current gear and a tutorial for how to Level for those sturggling.

@Mamradkorytnacky
There is a good chance you are trying to use the Barrage Attack and not the Barrage Support. It can be confusing, the person who commented below you linked the proper Support Gem. You get access to it at the end of Act 4.

@Slaikkiz
It's actually really nice! You just have to get the right stuff (easy to do). I'm making a Levelling Video for Kinetic Bolts if that interests you at all. I will show a basic levelling guide and how the skill is functioning so far.

So far lvl 52 few notes. This build is not gonna be sirius 8 killer simply because of golem retarded ai and suicidal tendecies(last league i tried burning arrow and it was whack because of same reason golems died). That being said golem dmg buff is so stupid that it can carry you to red maps with just tabula and 5c wands.Havent had any problems with lvling so far single dps is getting fixed with help of storm brand. kinetic bolt it self is damn nice skill and clears amazing with barrage support. One of the easiest starters ive had in years minus arc trap in incursion lol
OP: It is funny i arrived at the exact same conclusion, while leveling i thought to myself "This would go pretty well in hand with Arc+Spellslinger
But my god was i surprised lol! The clear is absolutely nuts.

Edit:
I also tried lightning warp+spellslinger+less duration
While fun, it just seemed to inconsistent, and terrible for bosses :D

Alright heaps of messages, i'm going to plow through them. Look out for your Bold-end name for replies directly to a reply you posted.

@livewirejsp
I used Kinetic Bolts. Kinetic Bolt > Added Lightning Damage > Volley is the way to go. Typing up a detailed guide now :D

Legit, as soon as I switched to this, the leveling felt so much better.

I had lesser poison in for volley. Good call! Thanks.

So having played this through the first 5 acts, here are my thoughts:

1) Get dual wands as quickly as you can, looking for flat phys/lightning, phys%/spell damage% on them. This will otherwise feel fairly clunky well into Act 2 -- packs will be nice, but bosses (Delirium especially!) will feel painful as hell. Links at this point are Kinetic Bolt > Added Lightning Damage (when available)

Dumb question, but is this suggesting that we should run both wands with the same gems in each wand?

Or just that the 2nd wand is basically for the stats on wands and we should put... something else in the sockets (not Kinetic Bolt)?

You don't need to have Kinetic Bolt in your wand to use the skill. For example I currently have KB in my helmet cause I managed to get a 4 link.

Not sure if that's what you meant exactly but I'm guessing so. So yea you can have 2 wands with no sockets at all and still use your skills socketed in other armour :)

Hey first of all thanks for very detailed guide!
I'm only going to start league tomorrow due to irl stuff but got a few questions regarding the build:

Golem survivability - will they survive the end bosses like conquerors and guardians not talking about sirus as he tends to 1shot them but then again the fight is a joke.

And viability to pour currency and make it as main league build as I hate leveling since old normal, cruel and merciless acts..

And maybe you could make some short video on how it goes in maps(atleast alched)
So really enjoying this build so far, Kinetic Bolt seems to be alright for clearing but I can definitely see why GGG added Spellslinger Support at the same time, it's needed to make up for the lack of Single target and can definitely help with clearing too.

I've just killed Act 10 Kitava and this is my current skill tree: Here

Currently working through my way through the PoB's Level 75(Maps) tree, but decided to give one of the Cluster Jewels I've found a go, each node gives 10% spell damage(10 small nodes) and notables are "30% Spell Damage, 8% Chance to knockback on Hit with Spell Damage" and "25% Spell Damage, 6% Chance to block spell damage if you cast a spell recently"

I also found this:

But I figured the Spell damage would scale better than ele damage would, but it's hard to tell exactly without a working PoB.

Main thing I'm working towards is buying better gear to finish capping my resists.

Currently this is my gear after Act 10, this is all either gear I've found or the total cost was less than 5c:

I've been playing with a friend so I'm not entirely sure how the damage/health scaling on Delirium mobs are yet but from what I've noticed I can clear most white/blue mobs easily enough and rare mobs take some time and will often 1 shot even if trying to be careful. It should be noted though that I haven't bothered to do Cruel or Merc Lab yet but I really should as I'm starting to notice my damage curve isn't as smooth as it was around level 30~.

My suggestions for ascendancy points differ from OPs. If I had to level the same way again I'd probably take Liege of the Primordial first, then Pendulum of Destruction and Mastermind of Discord second and third and save the extra Golem and Golem buffs for last. The only reason I suggest this is after having slogged through all 10 acts with only 1 ascendancy node(madness I know), is that I feel the damage curve of having the reduced mana reserved will allow a smoother damage curve for Delirium mobs and enable Spellslinger Support with Arc and other auras like Discipline for extra survivability which I feel is necessary if you don't wanna die everytime you pop a delirium portal. Again, this is tested with playing with 2 people and the damage scaling may be totally fine if you're solo but just wanted to share my experiences so far.

I'm currently awaiting PoB updates to try and test some things with the new skills and Cluster Jewels, but my immediate goal is to get to Phase Acrobatics and then possibly see if there are any good utility and defense Cluster Jewels worth taking instead of finishing up to the level 90 tree/Endgame tree or if the default passive tree is more worthwhile.

For anyone that's looking to level with this I'd very very strongly recommend finding yourself a Karui Ward and this will almost follow a smooth levelling curve without finding yourself too dexterity starved, the added proj speed also helps in a surprising way as the travel time for mobs when aiming at the edge of your screen can actually make you miss a lot otherwise due to mob movement.

I've also noticed that there seems to be a sort of 'dead zone' where if you're too close to a mob it doesn't seem to do as much dps occasionally, my guess would be that the projectiles have a certain area of effect for hit box detection and these can overlap so I've found that at about 2-3 mobs away seems like you can get 2/3 ball forks to hit a single mob but I'm not sure if this is actually how the skill interacts.

It looks like a very good build, struggles a bit in act 1 and 2 for me, but starts scaling once i put added lightnming and faster casting (this one probably could be switch with elemental damage with attacks)

But i have a problem with dexterity, not getting it from passive trees, probably have to stack some dex in my equipment since you need it so bad for barrage, herald of ice, ice golem...

I also have a little bit of problem defeating bosses, but im sure i'll be fine

Have to try spellslinger with it too

I can talk a little bit about viability of this build in terms of currency involved, I've probably spent less than 5c to finish Act 10 Kitava. Nearly all of the wands I've used have been found whilst leveling apart from the Obliteration found in Act 10 itself. The only thing I'd really say that was necessary would be to get yourself a Karui Ward early on and this will help to alleviate a lot of your Dexterity issues whilst levelling, especially as you'll want to take Volley Support early on and for Barrage Support later. I also found a Hrimsorrow very early on which is sitting around 1C currently and I'm still using that, I may upgrade it to Hrimburn at some point unless I really find myself needed the extra resists but you can pick this up for about 6c currently. Hope this helps some :)
