What's your point? Because he did only 8 challenges in Metamorph he has no right to comment?

Says the guy with 10 >.>

"right" isn't the issue. Hypocrisy is the issue, not that anyone cares about such things anymore, especially the volunteer Tencent defense league.

10 in Metamorph! =8¬)-

I am not here to blast anyone anyway but I find it unfair to judge somebody by a number that represent nothing.

Me thinks you don't know what hypocrisy means. That little number represents something, specifically challenges completed. Someone who can barely do them has no place to comment on how challenging the game is PERIOD. I mean, unless you're going for BiS top tier hypocrisy...

Physical Damage taken as Chaos/Fire/Cold/Lightning modifiers are now mutually exclusive.
Curse on Hit modifiers (found on rings) are now mutually exclusive.

Can we get confirmation about what this means in clearer language?

Mutually exclusive means implementing 1 thing will cancel out the other.

Does this mean you can't craft the physical damage taken as x on an item that already has physical damage taken as y on it?

Or does it mean if you try to use multiple items with physical damage taken as x , then only the most powerful modifier applies and the others will not work?

Or does it mean something else?

In that section of the patch notes they are discussing changes to individual items (e.g. on belts this change, on jewelry this change, on body armour this change, etc.), so I strongly suspect it means on individual items. It was previously possible to roll phys dmg taken as cold (Redeemer mod) and then bench-craft phys dmg taken as fire (veiled mod) on helmets, for example.

Thanks for the explanation. I am so happy after reading this. I was worried I would have to play something like juggernaut to mitigate physical damage well, because reduced physical damage taken modifiers are so rare.
Amazing! Can't wait to get down and play <3
Really, no nerfs to monsters, another dead league
Metamorph, and Tane, can now be found once you reach maps.

Goodbye one of the best leveling mechanic.

...maybe we should wait and see before proclaiming the death of one of the most successful and liked pieces of content in the entire game yeah? :)

I remember a similar notion when Winter Orb got nerfed. GGG has this silly way of buffing / nerfing things, where they just look at what's popular and decide that instead of making the rest more fun, they will ruin the thing that was most fun to people.

Don’t mind this comment, I’m just a pissed off Necro player who doesn’t understand how my enjoyment playing necros effects anyone else. The people who took those builds to the max were a minority. I had a baron geofri/victario build and people were slaying bosses faster with double strike and saviors faster than me... I don’t get it. I’m sure someone who is happy about the nerf will be happy to explain though.

such a strange mindset. How in the world does you playing a cheap, overpowered build, roflstomping end game maps and bosses and getting drops at a far easier, faster, and greater rate than anyone else in this multiplayer trading game affect anybody else? such a deep mystery

Where is this fantasy world you speak of where necros that could roflstomp content are built cheaply?

Asking cuz I want to know the secrets of this mythical content crushing thrift build you speak of.

Or is your math also mythical and somehow ignoring the cost of gems and jewels. Assuming that (meaning excluding gem and jewel costs), I can see the build being cheapish, if 50-60ex is cheap to you.

Is it all?
Where is the fun, GGG?

You are succeding of making want to play other games more so far. Why so? Got too many players already? Too populated leagues?
RIP Mana Guardian, I knew ye well.

I'm kinda bummed by the fossil crafting changes though. I understand wanting to spread their OP mod pool around but by making fossils considerably weaker? Ehhhhh. I would have just added the fossil mods to those pools as ANOTHER source of getting them, not a new requirement to get them with a fossil.
I hope that when the world comes to an end I can breathe a sigh of relief; because there will be so much to look forward to.
