Changes to Spectres and Movement Skills in Path of Exile: Delirium
Is it just me or does second wind just make flame dash even better? I feel like its never really been a matter of the secondary or tertiary utilization of the skill that made it so strong in the first place.
At least to me I always will prefer flame dash/leap slam over its respective counterparts simply because you can jump gaps with them, especially in lab where you can straight up skip some trap sections that way sometimes but even in A3 mines where you can just jump the broken bridges or summit where there are so many ledges to work around that it's actually kind of a shit map if you can't dash over them. Sure flamedash does a nice little burn damage too which I happily use for merveil A1 because the *** is chaos resistant so my cobra lash does quin dps, but aside from that I really just care about just being able to skip entire mazes of ledges on some maps. | |

As jer1993 mentioned, the problem with some of the other movement skills is that they do not go over ledges. These changes are great, but having the ability to traverse ledges means less time going around the long way so that we can stay in the action instead of worrying about pathing. Hopefully the nerf to flame dash is truly minor.

" Depends on the build. On some builds my movement skills do have 1 or 2 free supports for them. Then again, maybe that is because I have done more with leap slam so it is possible I don't perhaps know all the combos and neat ways I can improve my other movement skills yet. Most of them to me aside from leap slap are just to move around. So, idk, I think I could make use of it on a number of my builds. I also think they are staying true to their words at exilecon. Which were, that the patches leading up to 4.0 (PoE 2) are with that expansion in mind. So, these here would work great with all the numerous links we will have in PoE2. i sure hope we get to make spectors out of those barron mobs that throw cards that do over 9k ehp against full resists and decent armor.. that should effectively break the game nicely when added to spector build mechanics
