Can we talk about porcupines?

Cyclone Berserkers with Abyssus and other nonsense like that will most likely get blasted into oblivion in porc maps but honestly, they deserve it.

Nope. Don't feel like on zerker either.
I've definitely been shotgunned in T16s (even with no damage mods) with my 8k eHP cycloner. Basalt flask, steelskin, even some phys as elemental conversation damage taken. Just for fun, I pulled some away and killed them one at a time to see how much damage was done. A single one did anywhere from 1k-6k damage. Yes, 6,000 damage through all that. I'm assuming that small amounts of lag and misrepresentation as to where the enemies ACTUALLY are caused the spike explosion to have ALL of them hit me.

In a perfect, offline, lagless world. These monsters would be fine. As is, I think there should be a short delay before they explode into spikes (1 second?), or they should fire more like the weird spirit attacks from the Act 6 Twilight Strand mobs. In an arc, then land where you were when they died.

If I'm trying to level as a melee (unless I have guaranteed shatter), I'll portal out and open a new map the instant I see those guys.

That's the other problem, unlike map affixes, you have NO idea if they're going to be there. "Increased monster variety" is a maybe that they'll be there. Pretty sure "area is infested with animals" can have them...but you never know until you waste a map trying.

TL;DR - They're the most anti-fun enemy in the game. Just saying.

Yea ... fuck them. They end the league for me once more. Together with all the other on kill effects that GGG loves adding I just cannot take it anymore.

Until next time :)
