Mana-based Gems and Stormbind Demo

nice work :) thx!
Can someone tell me if this would work
Summon all brands with the arch mage support then turn on all your aura. And with the Second Wind gem, we can probably have perma brand recall.
So does the damages of the summoned brands stay the same if I have auras up after summoning them?

Archmage Support:

Has multiple benefits. Manacost of skill depending on unreserved mana.
Could be usefulk to make them mor managable when using multiple auras.

What? "more managable when using multiple auras"? It is "unreserved" mana that counts, not reserved. So no auras, at least with mana, can use blood magic.

Archmage Support could be incredible for an Ivory Tower build.

Let's say the spell costs 20 mana. After auras, you've only 10 unreserved mana. Without this support you can't cast the spell. With this support, you can cast the spell, because you're using a portion of unreserved mana.
What happens if you are using the covenant and have archmage support socketed?

Yes but if you’re not scaling the amount of mana that is spent per cast then you’re basically running a 5 link with an extra aura. Whether or not that would be optimal I’m not sure but Archmage support gives you damage based on the amount of mana that was spent.

Basically you’d have to invest heavily into reduce mana reservation and try to get in as many auras as possible and then you’d be using Archmage support purely as a means to cast your skill. Doesn’t sound optimal but we won’t really know until patch notes and PoB update are out.

Probably spends a percentage of life.
Look like Charged Dash.
I'll probably have to futz with my sockets a bit, but Arcane Cloak makes my Occultist veeery happy if I can fit it in my build.
How will Archmage support work with Channeled Spells?
Only issue I have here is the addition of Arcane Cloak means acrobatics builds have clearly the worst guard skill. Once again, choosing acrobatics means you have the smallest possible damage buffer in comparison to other options.

Now further content balancing will occur and it won't be a reasonable choice to pick pure evasion/acrobatics in any permadeath league. We keep coming back to this point, actually, arguably might never have left.
