Skipping this next league. First time in all these years.
Simply, PoE demands more than ever unreasonable play time, and I just can’t fathom having to complete the current mess of an atlas yet again. Poor game design, poor gaming experience. Life is too short to waste away on this grind. "I've played a lot of videogames. It's my primary recreational activity. Best games ever: Elden Ring and Diablo 4."

Good and we have 10 new skill points too, so we can use new slots.
I can't use the old ones. They are in use already. More maps too or we can't even play new League. Conquerors take all maps. |

The randomized portal feature is genius! Very nice.
Although, I think many people think that they just get a random portal from the store for free every time... No, it randomly chooses between the ones YOU OWN. So if you have three, you won't get every portal different, I think. Correct me if I'm wrong. |

GGG has a trope of just doing above and beyond to entertain and service the top layer of players, while dropping a deuce on those of us who just wanna play a game for a bit (BIT = Less than 8 hours a day; and a normal person has a life and can't play EVERY day anyway), the "casual players" I suppose. Though I'd argue with you that, if you still like the game, just take it easy and play only a little bit. I taken to the same mentality as you for the past like three leagues more or less (The last league I played a lot of was Delve and Legion I played a little bit for like 14 challenges) and I've kinda rested and now I'm somewhat interested in playing again. |

Anyone saying "We need more points" isn't thinking hard enough. With your current thinking that it's too weak to invest in, if you got more points you'd still ignore them and put those points into the base tree. The solution to your problem is making the notables stronger or more realistically reducing the points necessary to get them. This is completely unnecessary though because:
I think they are extremely promising currently, a medium rare quality cluster jewel is shown get you two notables plus a jewel slot. Just 3 initial points to get to the cluster jewel's slot, 3 more for two notables, and 2 more for a jewel slot. Seems quite strong and fun to me if they're on the level of the current ones released. There are plenty of regular notables you spend 4 or more points to get to, and you get cluster notables for 3 points each and the jewel for an extra 2. I find myself at pathing by one of the outer jewel slots anyway with most builds. This is all less fun for people who don't like to tweak builds and imagine possibilities though, we've seen practically nothing so far and it's already exciting. I want to know how many notables can fit onto a large cluster jewel alone, don't think we've seen exactly how they can all roll. Also thanks for the portal randomizer, that rules. " I also had difficulties with this last league. the changes of the atlas were not easy and the fight with sirus has a really bad design. The time necessary for this game is no longer enough for me to obtain rewarding results, (I play 3/4 hours every day), not to mention that even the trade is now drugged by characters who only want to monetize, buying in bulk and reselling at prices crazy. The difficulty of the game has also risen a lot ... I had never died so many times as an "oneshot", sometimes without even understanding what! It is useless to get bad blood, GGG makes its decisions and we are all aware that they cannot please everyone. I myself promised GGG that I would support if they didn't give me an alternative to Xsolla .... I'm still waiting, and they haven't had more support from me. So this is how things are, if you don't like the game anymore, patience there is more to play, useless complaining constantly...I didn't marry GGG. ;) |
