Don't be too harsh on it's mediocrity, this was a massive amount of work. I've been working on it non-stop with no sleep since I logged in yesterday and found out about this, lol. Really though, I went fucking hard to do this. Edit: Damnit, can't get it to be a custom URL, lame. I dunno what I'm doing wrong. Need a new signature, cuz name change. I dunno though. I guess this seems fine. Yeah, this is good. Last edited by LV9999Majin#9565 on Feb 5, 2020, 4:37:54 PM

" small update: I just made two short videos to showcase the game so it can be seen by anyone who doesn't want to downlad it or doens't have Excel. The game itself also got few minor changes: - You now need to right click on an item to pick it up. This way you can move/attack freely with the arrow keys without all the loot being in your way. - Monster now deal more damage. This is a buff. map generator video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CotO8HJrmXA gameplay video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sN6Niij-FdU you can download the updated version of the game here: https://github.com/tathagatagarbha/Path-of-Excile imagine peace

As Admiral Ackbar would say...it's a trap! Quite literally, because I like big traps and I cannot lie, you other Exiles can't deny ♪♫
Had fun with some nice 1st person PoE action, grabbed my armor and tossed that thing around in the Solaris Temple. No ribbons flitting about though... First part of making the Saboteur Garb IRL with easy prop. Made of EVA foam and worbla. I make hideouts & stuff→ https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-thread/3146783 ← Last edited by ƙloƙɱacɧine#1234 on Feb 5, 2020, 7:15:53 PM

The Maelström Cell x Tane's Device
One of my favorite things in the game is the unique diviner's strongbox, The Maelström Cell, with just the perfect mix of choice and chance. I wanted to make something that incorporated both the strongbox and metamorph league and this is the result. Encased in the resin is the open strongbox surrounded by 8 divination cards raining down and showcased within Tane's device. From the side, all of the cards look like The Doctor but when you look from above it's clear that they will all land face up as Rain of Chaos. The results of a strongbox that read "Contains 8 Divination Cards that have a Full Stack number of 8". Just what the doctor ordered A rain of chaos Final product: Unfortunately the pictures do not capture all of the internal elements so I have pictures of the making process below. The making of: I had just taken the wood lathes class at my local makerspace so that was the inspiration behind this project's form. The original plan was to create exactly what is seen below with green swirling layers of resin to represent my favorite skill, blade vortex (I might be the origin of Chieftain BV with a bow and The Signal Fire). Unfortunately I ran out of resin during casting so I was not able to complete the top part of the dome. All of the drawings were done in SketchUp. I exported the vector file for the inlay and opened it in Vcarve to use on the ShopBot, a CNC rounter. The corners were then trimmed off with the bandsaw. Similarly, files were brought over to Inkscape to cut 1/8in thick walnut and purple heart on the Epilog Laser which were fitted then sanded. The inlay was inspired by the center of the atlas. The pedestal was exported as a stl file and opened in PreForm to 3D print on a Form 2 stereolithography printer. This printer works by repeatedly dunking an aluminum block to the bottom of a pool of resin. A laser cures individual layers .025-.100mm thick that adhere to the aluminum block. This was printed at .1mm and the tips of the divination box failed to print. I actually found a Maelström Cell the other day and zoomed in only to noticed that I was working off of poor images so there are actually two scrolls coming off the sides of the top that are missing. Gold spray paint was the closest I had so I painted it and then coated everything with a thin layer of epoxy. The cards were printed on a piece of cardstock front/back then laminated and cut on the laser. The blue tape masks the backside of the sheet and blocks the laser flares which you can see on the edges of the tape. I originally printed on blue cardstock since I imagine Chris would make real divination cards with a blue core but apparently standard printers do not have white ink so everything ended up just shades of blue. I made a cylinder out of a thin sheet of plastic to contain the resin as I poured and you can see the first Rain of Chaos going into the resin. Not pictured is me running out of resin (thus the flat top in the final piece). Unfortunately this was my first time pouring resin and I did not realize how warm it would become when curing and the plastic cylinder ended up warping significantly. My local makerspace recommended that I take the metal lathes class to remove the plastic cylinder and turn down the resin until I had an actual cylinder. Pictured is a 4 jaw chuck (allows you to pick the center of rotation in an asymmetrical object) which I used to turn down the resin side. I then masked the resin with tape and put that side in a 3 jaw chuck (auto centers symmetrical objects) to turn down the wood side to match. 3 jaw chuck not pictured but you can see the full cylinder in the next step. Sanding was not allowed on the metal lathe because small abrasive particles can damage the rails so I finally got to practice using the wood lathe! The center hole you see under the drill press was made on the metal lathe ~1/8in deep so I had a center hole to mount the piece onto the wood lathe. The hole was then drilled deeper to accommodate a large screw and two support screws were added, one on each side. Once mounted on the wood lathe, the tail stock was brought up to keep it stable while I sanded and a scrap piece of wood was placed in between to prevent damaging the top of the piece. Once the sides were sanded, the tail stock was removed so I could sand the top. Not pictured was buffing the final piece in the jewelry studio to create a shinier surface. As my first resin and first lathe piece I'm quite happy with it but next time I will be much more careful with my resin pour. Some of the lines that you see are actually separate layers from when I was pouring resin and placing the cards and unfortunately could not be sanded or buffed out. Using measurements from the final piece, I designed Tane's Device as a decorative stand and to give it the rounded top I had wanted. The pieces were cut from baltic birch on the Epilog Laser and the bottom was engraved as well. Last edited by themathwhiz#3012 on Feb 6, 2020, 12:58:31 AM

Hello, wonderful people! My name is Daria, I am from Russia. I have been playing Path of Exile for quite a while, and it was a great pleasure. I am also fond of cosplay and crafting various stuff. So I decided to make my own little cosplay of the Witch, cause it is by far my favorite class.
I sew a Tabula Rasa, also crafted Lifesprig and a circlet... All I need for a leaguestart, hehe. But something was lacking. Of course, like most of us players, I dream about Mirror of Kalandra. I dont think it will ever drop for me in game, so why not have one in real life? And I made it. Hope you will like the result. :) Hope the formating is ok because its the first time I am posting. My hands are shaking honestly XDD. Thanks for your attention. Wish many Mirrors, Headhunters, lucky crafts and corruptions to all fellow Exiles. P.s. a little question
Spoiler
And I am also planning other PoE cosplays. I really like Lunaris, and also Mastermind outfit. But it is sooo hard to capture a screenshot of Mastermind, I actually died a couple of times trying on lvl 83 fight. Maybe there are some concepts or artworks of her? I really need help here, Internet doesn't give anything. Thank you

The Bored In Exile Activity Book
Hey everyone! This is my entry to the contest. My idea for this contest was to create an interactive piece of art, I achieved this by creating an activity book inspired by Path of Exile and it's world. The book consists of several activities like colouring pages and word-searches with a Path of Exile theme. All of the art for the pages was created by myself. See below for pictures of the finished physical book that I had printed as well as a video of me showing the book and a downloadable version for anyone who wants to try the puzzles themselves.
