We implore you to investigate the quarters of the Sister-Initiate Cassia. Ever since she was assigned to our barracks none of us have known any peace.

Yesterday the walls shook and there was black liquid coming out from under the door. When questioned, Cassia has apologised to us all but Sister-Initiate Doretasi (formerly the daughter of Nobleman Dalos) refuses to sleep in her room, claiming that Cassia sent her nightmares. Sister-Initiate Lejunel (formerly daughter of High Inquisitor Sanon) refuses to take her meals with Cassia as "Cassia is always covered in weird white powder."

The other girls have also privately complained that Cassia, while enthusiastic, imaginative and overall a great study companion, tends to get carried away with her experimentation to everyone's detriment.

While thaumaturgical experiments are not uncommon in such new Sisters-Initiate, I fear that her experiments are ill-suited to our barracks. Perhaps Barracks 9 with the reinforced walls and closer to the Slave Pens would be more suitable for someone of her talents?

What offense have I given? Not since High Templar Venarius' election have such things gone amok in my laboratories!

Those two… scholars you sent are absolute nightmares! While expressionless in the face of gore, Vilenta's glee in human suffering is one even I cannot stomach. That one is better suited to the Inquisitors than she is in our halls.

And Cassia. What lurks beneath that twisted mind is something I want nothing of! She is a wilful child, who heeds not the advice of her elders. And that is not the end of it! She sings! By all that is Innocent and Holy but the child's hums and songs when wielding the surgeon's knife is chilling.

You know very well that I am unable to send them away (even to Innocence) due to the strict rules of the Hall. Either they are reassigned, or you will find the entire Healer's Wing empty the next time you return from High Templar Dominus' halls.

I am delighted to recommend Sister Cassia to the project we discussed.

She comes highly endorsed by Sisters Radif Tyli and Laytechi Silac, both of whom laud Cassia's warm professionalism and stubborn curiosity.

Sister Laytechi reported she was shaken by Cassia's brief stay in her Barracks, as Cassia united and drove her fellow Sister-Initiates to greater heights than they'd dreamed of before. Sister Radif Tyli, who is a woman of few words, merely says Cassia's singing when she wields the surgeon's knife is something to be experienced.

I attach several reports of her latest projects - it would be a shame to languish one so talented to merely the Healing Halls, when she could be doing so much more in your service.
