[3.13] SIEGE BALLISTA HIEROPHANT Build > Iron Commander & 15 Ballistas! CHEAP LEAGUE STARTER!
Thanks for the build. I'm definitely enjoying it as a league starter. I usually go mines or spectres, but this has gotten me to T13 maps without issues. Gearing was pretty cheap. I think I've spent a little over 5ex.

You actually out regen Blood Rage easily. Thats before the 1% regen per Totem. Already updated the build I listed with Skitterbots. Looking for an alternative Garukhan boots since they are like 4.5 ex now. |

What can I do to help with some more life? I need the boots/chest before i want to balance my rings and glove for resistance. Im sitting at about 3,1k which seems every low...
Any tips? Thanks like the build so far |

Well a friend thought to try this build out for this league as his second and started it a couple weeks ago. He bought everything then, when it was cheaper, and was blazing through content once he got it going. I got interested in it and decided to make the character yesterday. Unfortunately, much of the gear has shot up in prices. Especially those Garukhan cowboy boots. 4-5ex now are you kidding me? Friend bought his pair for 20 chaos.
So my experience with this build is that it sucks until you get your second ascendancy node in Heirophant. Without Ritual of Awakening, this build is pretty rough. This is even with all the normal best leveling gear. Once you get that Ritual of Awakening and get a Siege Commander bow... the game completely changes with this build. At least it has so far for me. Literally zooming through everything now. I am looking though at how to handle this champ end game without those boots for life. They add a solid 800+ life from all the dex the build has. This build seriously needs that life to survive later maps. May have to change the build a bit for more life and defenses while sacrificing some damage just to make up for the lack of those boots. Anyways, nice build. |

" probabyl mathil did some shitty build again. No way these boots cost that much, they are not even that rare. Market will calm down soon https://www.twitch.tv/angry_roleplayer

Okay, I'm having problems with managing my mana pool. Good news is that at level 50 I can put out eight totems. Bad news is that I run out of mana after four ...
Is this just something that gets better with the second ascendancy, or am I just doing something horribly wrong? I've got a fair amount of mana regen on my rings, but I'm dropping four totems and then popping my flasks to put out the next group when needed ... |

" If you haven't done the second lab run for the Ritual of Awakening ascendancy node, then don't bother with Siege Ballistas yet. Not worth it. I was originally using Holy Flame Totem with Scorching Ray using wands until then. It was slow, but doable. Don't bother with trying to do Siege Ballistas until you get that ascendancy node and the Iron Command bow. At that point you can do something. Also of note, Rain of Splinters after those two is another nice upgrade. Still, it isn't needed right away. Just use Volley Support instead until you can get a decent Rain of Splinters jewel. Seige Ballisa + Added Cold + Elemental Attacks + Cold Penetration + Hypothermia support + Volley Support work fine at first. Rain of Splinters mean you can pull out that Volley Support though and add in either Added Fire Damage or Damage on Full Life. I find early on the Added Fire Damage support does more, but eventually the Damage on Full Life gets better. So make sure to level that gem up in a swapped weapons slot. |

Absolutely loving this build!
I'm wondering what I can do to push survivability and/or damage even further (besides standard answers like get gems to lvl 20, etc). Note that I only have about 1.5 ex to my name right now. Not a bad quiver corruption I've got. https://pastebin.com/FM7TNsEY Last edited by CrowPimp#5485 on Mar 28, 2020, 12:36:13 PM
