Cyclone stuttering on key bind: Solved
I have play three cyclone builds already with no issues...
This time cyclone will channel when using a mouse button to activate it. It will channel 1 stack then stutter when using the default Q key. I will then be disconnected for to many key strokes. The previous cyclone characters all use Q to activate channeling. Any ideas what has happened or how to fix? Thank you Solution: On the character selection screen select Options. On the UI tab, third option down is Network Mode. There are 3 options here: Auto, Predictive and Lockstep. I was running in Auto. To avoid the issue above, you must select Predictive. Thank you for the help guys. Last edited by Schnoodlez#3814 on Jan 8, 2020, 6:53:01 PM Last bumped on Jan 7, 2020, 1:33:52 PM

I would have report a bug report directly but I was directed here. How long until GGG responds?

Interestingly there is an odd work around. If I assign cyclone to the Q button "like all the prior cyclone builds I have done) and press any other key at the same time or quickly after, the channeling begins. This is a little annoying as the timing needs to be perfect. I have died several times due to poor timing.

This is not the correct section to report bugs. And it does seem like you are the only one that is affected to this, so I would have you check what is causing this for you and just you.
Sitting in HO spamming alts for 4 hours straight is peak PoE gameplay. Thanks, Chris.

Alas I wish it was just me but it is not. Simply google it.
Regarding that this is not the correct place to report this, please tell me where to report it. The support page lead me here. |

There's a 'Bug Reports' section but they largely ignore it just like they largely ignore 'Help and Information', 'Technical Support' and the misc 'Feedback' sections.
The developers are busy developing and really they only listen to their streamer buddies and to whatever reddit threads get upvoted. There is a support staff that is supposed to be the intermediaries between player and developer but they're too busy policing the chat rooms for wrong-think to do much of anything else. If this problem isn't just on your end then maybe its known but you're wasting time coming back here to bump cause the people who see this either cant do anything about it or just don't give a damn. GL[/quote] First off thank you for sharing. What you say is very disappointing. I would consider this problem both a bug and a tech issue. It is good to know there is a bug section somewhere. I'll look for it. It is really too bad because I have seen others report this issue over the years but no solutions offered. It was my hope this could have been different. |
