Thread of Hope -- Unable to Allocate Other jewel Sockets (Intended?)
It's not a bug. You can only allocate passives between the two rings :)

Actually you can't allocate a jewel socket node that is overlayed with the blue ring, so i think it's a bug too.

same issue!

it should be a bug, because the jewel socket is highligted while hovering over the jewel, so it should be usable.
But it isn't ("requirements not met") if it's intended not to work the highlighting is wrong. so what's it gonna be GGG? i really would like it to work ;-) | |
This is a consequence of how jewels/sockets work - jewel sockets can never be modified/affected in any way by jewels other than the one in them. Jewel sockets are entirely skipped over when passives are being modified by a radius jewel.
This is important for multiple reasons, including (but not limited to) the fact that otherwise two of these could form a self-sustaining pair in some parts of the tree, and then you could refund all the points leading up to whichever of the sockets you put the first jewel in. You wouldn't need any nodes anywhere near either jewel, effectively increasing the upper limit on how far the jewel's reach extends to "everywhere" Last edited by Mark_GGG#0000 on Jan 22, 2020, 1:23:37 AM

" It makes sense, but it does not justify the inconsistent wording then. Also, having jewel sockets actually highlighted in blue is then a bug, isn't it? SSF is not and will never be a standard for balance, it is not for people entitled to getting more without trading.

Jewel sockets aren't "passive notables" to begin with.
