EA 3.9 Ignite -- Cap Your Damage
" Honestly the minimum requirement i would say is 2x Quill Rains, Any Kaom (dosnt need to be perfect), Helmet with -9% + Trigger on focus, Ballista Totem Boots is about as low as you wana go to feel decent/good. It dosnt give you an insane UMPH feeling on damage without that stuff IMO |

Can someone tell me the exact gem setup for the build without awakener gems? PoB says Unbound Ailment for clear, but isn't burning more damage for low hp trash?

" Without awakened gems the single target setup would be EA > Burning Damage > unbound ailments > Barrage support > Weapon elemental damage > ignite prolif Clear setup would be EA > Mirage Archer > GMP > Ignite Prolif > Less Duration > Unbound Ailments Last edited by Michaelrrox#0090 on Jan 13, 2020, 2:47:38 PM

" yeah the gem setup in this guide is very confusing (well at least for me) it feels like ever PoB link and every char i look at has a different setup.... for example u say "for clear: use GMP" but when i look at your char u use GMP with barrage support and on your swap quill rain non of both. so what is your clear setup on your char? dont we want barrage support for single target? (plus does GMP and barrage support rly work? i cant see/hear any more explosions when i use EA+barrage support with and without GMP) and why is the gem setup with awakened gems different to not awakened ones? i will keep on lvling with the gem setup u wrote on the top and hope u can help me out cause this is rly fun to play. thanks in advance |

" Thanks, that should be easy enough. |

" Im using the extremely end game setup with Barrage support + awakened GMP, my clear setup is also the endgame setup that no longer uses mirage archer because my ignite so insane now i dont need the extra fuses. What i posted is the standard setup. My current setup is extremely end game (80m+ ignite dps) Last edited by Michaelrrox#0090 on Jan 13, 2020, 4:49:26 PM

" but isnt it exhausting to clear with the small cone barrage supp gives? and when the bow with barrage and gmp is for clear AND single target, what is your swap bow with that setup for? |
|
" With +1 quiver and Dying sun + flask quality you have 5 arrows firing for clear. My swap bow/quiver with less duration is my clear bow so things explode quickly, my barrage support+GMP is my boss killing swap so the fuses last a long time and I can stack them quickly with as many arrows as possible. (My single target currently fires 13 arrows at almost 8 1/2 attacks per second for maximum fuses) Once you get end game gear like I do, you no longer need gmp for a clear skill as your ignite prolif is enough to clear full screens without having to stack 20 fuses on 10 mobs with gmp/mirage archer |
|
" I don't clear with barrage. The setup with neither Barrage Support nor GMP is what I am clearing with at the moment. Undisputed best alpha tester since Awakening beta.

I'm looking for opinions as to what is going wrong with my current/prospective setup.
I have this quiver: For single-target DPS, and this quiver: For clear. They do relatively well. However, when I attempted to 'upgrade' to this quiver: Whether for clear or single-target, it seemed to perform much worse than either of the previous two quivers. This could be because it lacks the +25% to Fire Damage over Time multiplier, or because the +1 arrow puts the damage over the supposed ignite bug cap. How different is +1 arrow to 11% attack speed? And how important is fire damage over time multiplier? POB is reporting a 20K DPS drop per 5 fuses when I switch to the +1 arrow quiver (due to the missing 25% fire damage over time), but I would have thought that the increased number of arrows per second before explosion might make up or even surpass that. Have I missed something very obvious about the difference in DPS relevance between additional arrow, attack speed, and fire damage over time multiplier? |
