Metamorph League is full of surprises

Just finished a very casual run of the 10 acts. In Oriath and after {Alt}Tab out to use browser I come back to see this:



Now that's truly a clusterfuck to the max! After I wait about 15 seconds it goes away and no game crash but a few seconds later this:


The all too familiar "an unexpected disconnection occurred". You can tell that it's the 1st week of the new league by the town population and extreme lag with all the garish bling of the exiles. Just in time for Christmas.

"Oh what fun it is to play a performance broken PoE" or something like that. It used to be "...ride in a broken down Chevrolet" but GGG and the all too addictive PoE has replaced that alt lyrics.

dude you are notorious for having performance problems...ever think that maybe its on your end? every league you complain about performance issues that nobody else is having ...maybe just maybe its on your end?

It's not "his end", it's the South East United States that is about 30 years behind the times both politically and technologically.

Not really a complaint or QQ, more of an amusing LOL about PoE that I have never ever seen happen in any other arpg. D3 and others run rock solid, Borderlands 3 runs top quality in multi-player, etc. etc. Everything else I play on my gaming rig is butter smooth, only PoE does wonky things. But I already know from years of having to put up with Softlayer/Networklayer shit bad Internet fiber, that is where my PoE performance problem is.

But this one is more amusing than frustrating.

I gtfo Oriath as soon as I finish Act 10, when the game loads, it is the /hideout command for me right away.

It is not only on his end. Certain bling items cause insane lag. I play summoner with god knows how many summons and effects on screen, and the game runs fine. I enter town: fps drops to 5.

That's why they're called the Loadin' Docks. Go to the Docks and load, much less BS, far fewer exiles. Oriath is like AIDS to load into.
