Revenant Character Effect

I do think the MTX looks nice - who doesn't like a lightning effect. However your MTX combo suggestion is actually hideous. I seriously question your taste or lack thereof.

but I love a lot of the mtx thats been released lately! and I esp appreciate the wallpaper of the reworked Lioneye's Watch, I'm currently using it as my laptop background!

Well it's different enough from the Lightning Char Effect to be its own thing, but I'm not seeing much that's Revenant-y about this. *shrugs*

And the Core supporter packs? How long for the release? I really want to spend money, but need new packs for that!

I love path of exile and I like ggg....

But this releasing MTX that's for or close to the most used skill in a league is a total scumbag move. GGG is in control of what skill is the most appealing and powerful. I feel they're making decision on gameplay to purposely manipulating the system of pushing MTX. That's just how I feel.

Yeah I get it they're a business and need money to further develop the game I love. However can it be a little less obvious. The last few leagues this has been going on and it's borderline sickening for the fans who are more apposed to mtx in general. That's not saying I've never bought mtx but these displays of "check out our new #1 skill used this league MTX" doesn't say ggg cares about the people who buy mtx. It feels like they're pushing this mtx on the people who are more willing to buy mtx for any reason. And then if that's the case why can it be something original or for a slew of content and not just the league 'meta'.

I'm struggling to figure out what you're even trying to say. Are you saying you'd prefer them to release MTX for builds that aren't popular at the moment? Couldn't you argue that this MTX is there to appease the most players at once since it is the league meta at the moment?

You're against MTX in general and you're against them releasing one that caters to the most players at this given moment. Should they release an MTX that only .001 of players are playing? What kind of sense would that make from a business or even common sense perspective? People are more willing to buy this MTX because they're actually using a build that this would synergize with.

I expected resistance to my post by people who didn't understand what I was saying. My point was they release mtx based on the 'meta' as of late (last few leagues). CONTINUE READING

This leads ME to think they're setting up the meta as a button they can push to sell more mtx.

Chris wilson has said the leagues are like a button they can push to increase the player population and showed graphs to demonstrate this point.

So getting back to my point. They're using league meta as a button to sell MTX. They're in control of what the meta is. The DEV dept says let's give a small boost to a skill. Then the MTX dept says let's make some new mtx based around that skill. it's sketchy... Some skills don't even have mtx yet if that would appease you.

There is a noticeable trend, I'm talking about it. It's not bad to talk about it. Regardless if you agree or not. If all you're doing to do is ggg drone me then don't even respond. (a play off the term bliz drone. people who refuse to acknowledge anything bad and only spout how XYZ company is the best ever)
