This new atlas is so unnecessarily complex, I mean I could care less personally but good luck roping in new players with this nonsense lol

Tbh, it seems less finicky than the shaper and elder influence systems when they were first introduced. No more weird elder influence sculpting shenanigans.
seems pretty damn easy and basic to me.
i just got to the quest line and maps, and the game spells it out pretty easily so far. do maps until you can get to the corners, then find the conquerors in the corners. i guess i'll find out more once i get there.

I agree, trying to run Elder maps consistently was a royal pain in the ass.
ZiggyD has come out with a video guide on this - https://youtu.be/yWCp0wFjx2M
Another complex set of atlas mechanics to learn.. Makes total sense to go for corners first (not). Good thing we have streamers living in POE, who can explain the weird atlas mechanics.
Also seems you can stuck in map progression, if you accidently place your 4 first atlas stones in one area?
Hejren / Triceps / Regnbuen / Sarinti / Striglen / Mareridt / Spoegelset / Doktoren / Dobbelganger / Skjoldtrold / Forkynderen
Yeah that is cool.... but what the hell you do when you got 8 stones??? i put 1 stone in every region but that will not make any watchstone dudes spawn... to do that you need to put 2 watchstones... BUT NOW!!! you can't get the maps you need because there are a gap that you can't close in the map tiers????????? I seriously do not get this system... can maps just magically now totally ignore map tiers and drop like they want to????? what is it that is don't understand????? there are a million of guides on the internet but none of those i have read explains how to get past the 8 watchstones... and get into red maps.

Just sad that they only share the part to get the 4 first stones because the real shit begins when you got 8... after i got 8 stones i have not been able to get more no matter what i try...

So as per the GGG norm this is just more content for the no-lifers. It's early Monday (12:55 am EST) < 2½ days since the league started and players are discussing endgame goals like it's a no-brainer walk in the park while the majority of filthy casuals haven't finished the 10 acts yet. And this is the Christmas season no less so no-lifing PoE really shouldn't be the norm. Sad, very sad that's all you have going for you. :(

Ouch - that's a lot of anger.

I look at the 60-hr a week players as a huge time saver for me. By the time I get to mapping in the next couple of days, they will have figured most of it out so I won't have to waste my time running hundreds of maps wondering why nothing is happening.

Nice to have someone else do that for me!

So thanks to all you guys who play 100 hours the first week of launch!
:-)
