I'm having the same issue with maps that contain Zana Missions - so far tried 3 of them and couldn't join a single map of them "Failed to join instance" or "faield to connect to instance".
No issues on other maps |

Unable to join any instance at lower prison, it's been like the 5th time, even trying with a brand new instance from the climb.

I also fixed this issue by sealing my Hidden Vaal Pathways.
I was stuck at Temple of Decay lvl 1. |

" Yep... I just realized that bug clear all my progress.... all the lab trials that I've done are erased.... I have the first ascendancy but when I go to the ascendant plaza it shows that I didnt do anyone of those trials..., the bug erased the items as well and well.... wow first time something like this happens to me |

It's almost 24hrs since the league started and im in act 6, soo many crashes, failed instances it's just unbearable.
I have over 3.5k hrs in this game and i've never experienced anything like this before. Wouldnt surprise me if the failed instances is because the Cloud instances have ran out of capacity. |

For the record, sealing the prophecy "Hidden Vaal Pathways" got me unstuck as well

Deleting that prohecy also fixed my issue.
