Bonus: Consistent with business interests.

In the past I have deleted many characters because of the lack of any kind of sorting feature, just to keep things manageable.

Every one of those deleted characters is a potential lost sale of a new character slot.

I start naming my characters beginning with "A" so it pop up above the rest, hope I don't have to upgrade to "AA", or even "AAA".

Character sorting is already in PoE. It sorts in alphabet order. so you must name you characters wisely to have newest first.

Oldest char name should start Z***
Then crate char named Y***

When you reach A**** create _Z***
After _A*** create __Z***

simple trick :)
