Hi Wrecker_of_Days, Is there any main attack skill you would recommend for leveling before we get to Bladestorm?
Hey Demious!

Molten Strike, Smite, Sunder...honestly, any skill you like is the best one to level with. I hate levelling in the campaign so I take the ones I like the most. And don't forget a good melee totem :).

You might want to get + 1 curse from chest/amulet and use curse on hit on one of your trigger skills.
Hey Baronello!

Sure! That's a great idea! I personally prefer my triggers to just hit hard. But that isn't a bad suggestion at all. I had lots of people say they did something of the sort last league and loved it.

(+Curse is gone on the chest now.)

What even happens in your head, when u decide to choose bad color just for attention?
Hey TripleCrab!

Your post is a lot more colourful than my guide ;). (By the way, your comment in my other guide was much better.)

It doesn't sound like you're up for an explanation as your assumptions seem to be fact to you. But I'll humour you.

1. Brown and Green are my favourite combo of colours. And with the symptoms that I have (which I explained), these specific shades are much easier on my eyes and head than any other I've come up with. This standard colour if very difficult for me to look at for a while.

2. You know I can't change the colour of my title that shows on the forum right? So wouldn't it be my title, in default colour, that got your attention? Not the guide's text which you couldn't see before clicking on the guide?

3. "Bolding" in the default text colour doesn't stand out. When you change the colour of the text, "Bolding" stands out a lot more. That's very handy for guide writers when trying to emphasize a point and not use up valuable character limits. For example, look at your name in my post here. It's barely different. If you look at any of the names in my other posts, they stand out a lot.

Also, thanks for posting your filters. Just as a heads up, the filter page doesn't currently have the Starting Off Filter for PS4. It does have All Setup Filter and No Low Currency though. I'm one of the few people who play on PS4 and would love the starting filter as well. Thanks for the work.
Hey ectospheno!

You're welcome for the filters! It's one of my favourite parts of PoE...customizing that stuff. This new system they have is amazing! It's a correction checker, it auto-updates, it's easy to find/follow, and if you have multiple platforms you play PoE on (like me, PC & Xbox) it only shows you the filters for the platform you're on...even if you're following for multiple platforms! It's amazing!

Anyway, sorry ;). Thanks for the thanks :).

I didn't mean to have the Starting Filter off for PS4. I just forgot to hit the "public" button. Thanks for pointing it out. I changed it as soon as I saw your post (while I was at church!).

I really like the idea of having "easy to play" builds, thanks much for putting these out there!

Question: Are there any uniques that one should consider looking for that would work well with this build? Like maybe Lioneye's Remorse for the shield? Or is that more effort than it's worth?

Edit: NM. After reading through your Newbie Tips section is see the lack of unique recommendations is part of your "stress free" philosophy. I'm going to take this one out for a spin this league. I really like the idea you're running with here. :)
Hey Seafodder!

Thanks for the kindness. I appreciate it! I'm happy to do it.

You're welcome to ask about uniques at any time. I don't pay attention to them at all (out of personal preference. I skip the Uniques section of the patch notes every time. But there are normally people following these threads that do have good suggestions for uniques. So even if someone doesn't answer your question directly, keep an eye on what others are posting that they're trying.

Thanks for the kind words! I hope you like it but don't feel like you have to ;). Ask anything you like too.

Hi, awesome guide, thank you for making it.

I took your skill tree and switched the shield nodes for dual wielding ones for the build I will try. Looking forward to my first gladiator build.

As for Unique items I will look to find casually:

The Anvil - Amulet will help me cap my block as a dual wield toon.
Bringer of Rain - helmet for a 7-Link main skill, until I can 6 link a Belly of the Beast.

Everything else I will just experiment as I go. :D
Hi Wrecker,

Suggestion for Curse on Hit on a trigger seems a very good idea. And with the new Awakened Curse on Hit, you can apply 2 curse and bypass hex proof.

Hey Seafodder!

Far as unique items this build there are a bunch of great choices. For shields Thousand Teeth Temu, Lioneye Remorse those are two good shields and then my favorite The Surrender is just awesome for this build if you can find one or buy one but the are pricey.

For weapons high physical dmg rares are nice but I like using the Soul Taker axe it is not the best dps but I use it so I don't have to worry if I have enough mana.

For a fun set to play around with you could use Crown of the pale king helmet, The Anvil amulet, Thousand Teeth Temu. I played around with using those and had fun with them.

If you want to use Vulnerability as a curse the Impresence amulet with the Vulnerability has 100% reduced mana reservation is a great choice and linked with Blasphemy we get a free aura.

So many others I could list but I'm sure you will see others in this post share there ideas to.

Just wanted to say

1. Thanks for the build, its a lot of fun (new league levelling with molten strike atm " at the moment" )

2. What a polite thread ! My ever diminishing faith in humanity has been restored.

Happy Holidays / Christmas (whatever you prefer.)

From a guy far too old to be playing POE these days.
