Question about ascendancy choice:

Why go demolitions specialist over explosives expert?

I know the elemental aspects of explosives expert dont apply, but the aoe and less area damage are good.

Maybe its the aura part of D.S I dont understand, I know for skills like icicle mine they have a set aura portion to them .. but for using blastchain mines does the aura line apply?

Can someone clarify :)

Basically hinder. We have enough damage and aoe but not great defense. Hinder helps to cover
How You doing?
Hi,

any weapon preferance in lvling proces, until i can get porcupine bow?
Any bow with 4 links should be good enough.
So when I look for bow I should look for in this order of priority:
- links
- +1/2 level of socketed gems
- chaos damage over time multiplier
- Increased chaos damage / increased skill effect duration for chaos skills

But I still have a doubt. Attack speed is useless in the bow, but what about Physical damage or Elemental damage in the base bow damage, should I ignore it too?

I have problems understanding how DPS is calculated in Toxic Rain (PoB calculates it wrong).

not a single stat is relevant. just needs to be a bow.

How does this compare to a normal trickster toxic rain build ?
Hello! Thanks for your elegant and clean guide.
I want to discuss: which passive is the MVP to anoint.
I am now considering:

1. Corruption. 30% increased damage and 10% dot multi.

2. Growth and Decay. 20% increased damage, 10% dot multi and 1% life regen.

3. Golem Commander. Having 2 golems is great for almost all builds. Decent choice.

4. Heart of Oak. 8% max life, 1% life regen and 20% immune stun.

5. Golem's Blood. 10% max life, 1.6% life regen.

Any other good choices?
I'll go Golem Commander when I get the oils. Stone for regen and Chaos for physical damage reduction.

This build focus on the DoT that Toxic Rain provides.
The DoT part only related to gem level, not your weapon's base damage.
