You can now add Item Filters to your account through the Path of Exile website. When you then log into your game client, no matter where you are logging in from, you will then have access to all of the Item Filters tied to your account (even if you're playing on Console!).

What's this?

You are right, more item filters...

There may or may not be specific Console changes for 3.9, but GGG usually holds back their announcement for the Launch on Console. Typically they are not especially "big ticket items", but they have included some very nice QOL (usually for most Players, but not necessarily all Players). Personally, being able to customize Loot Filters was on my wish list (even though I do not know how to set them up yet).

What kind of usual announcements do you mean?

The last one from september about the delay of blight on xbox
or the one before from over half a year ago where they said they gonna fix bugs?

"Typically they are not especially "big ticket items""

Yes, one can describe it that way.

That question generated a wry chuckle for me.

As you point out, the Console Announcements Forum,

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/Console

really does not have much in it. In particular, it lacks the Console improvements that have come via the Patches which are more numerous and can be found in the Platform specific Patch Notes - PS is here

https://www.pathofexile.com/forum/view-forum/ps4-patch-notes

In particular, if you look at the League Launch Patches, Blight for example, you should see a "Console Specific" section that lists what ever goodies Console got.

So hence the sort of chuckle. The "Announcements" Forum, at least recently, seems to be for pressing issues (often unplanned ones) while the Patch Notes contain the info on the planned changes.

Al right, then. Lets wait for some extra console patch notes and hope that those goodies are more important improvements this time.
Well at least we got an easy and smooth implementation of custom loot filters. This seems to work fine so far. If necessary, we still can use the ingame loot filters.

...wait
Console PoE is the same as PC PoE why would they add anything extra to consoles?

Um. No. No it isn't. There are some distinct differences.

To make up for Console specific problems, caused by either console hardware limitations, or issues specific to the Console version.
