Development Manifesto: Balance in Path of Exile: Conquerors of the Atlas
" Then go ahead and make one. They didn't remove Cyclone from the game, you can still make a Cyclone build and play that. Now, if the build was insanely strong and it's been nerfed (like what it seems for Zombies), then you can still play the same build, it'll just be viable-strong instead of OP. |

" Discharge facetanks, KB zoomers, hit-and-run explosive arrow prolif builds were all in really good states through 3.8. Burning Arrow was a weaker alternative to Scourge Arrow (gg ailment multi), which stacks a bunch of flat lightning (abyss jewels/sockets, the tempest, stormfire, ES Doryani's Delusion) with Dyadian Dawn + Elemental Equilibrium Last edited by typecast#2382 on Dec 10, 2019, 2:33:50 PM

" aha, but I don't have enough currency atm :( |
|
" Or, and hear me out here... don't only play OP builds! I know, shocker! The builds that are super OP always get nerfed next league, this isn't new. Every league that has 1-2 super OP faceroll build always has a good 6-12 strong builds that are viable to end-game without needing horrible investments, of which most don't get touched for a few leagues if at all. If all you do in the game is chase the most OP and most Meta builds, exactly what you describe will happen. If it's your favorite build that became meta, then maybe take the chance to try a different build. If all you do is play the 1 build and nothing else, then play Standard where you won't have to worry about trading that much and grinding currency that much at the start of every league. |
