There is a bug in totem dmg nodes - we are missing a lot of dps.

The ones to Shaman's Dominion work for me, and those are the only ones I've taken, so probably not a big deal for us unless it affects ascendancies too.

I tested Ritual of Awakening (which is a different kind of bonus) and it currently works properly. While this does need to be fixed, we actually don't generally have a lot of these specific "increased totem damage" bonuses. Pretty much just in the minors leading to Ancestral Bond, unless you've diverged more from my suggested tree pathing.
Has anyone done maths on the blizzard crown helmet type? I'm worried that it's great until we hit the tougher bosses.

Not worth imo, 10% ele should be similar to the added cold that you get, so the helmet doesn't really give us much more DPS overall.

Another downside is having to get a decent enchant on it. You could spam fossil for enchant, or Gift of the Goddess until you get FP, Golems effectiveness or curse effectiveness on it or something.

Also, crafting is a bit of a pain, you want at least 2-3 high res and high life, preferably 2 open prefix. You can then slam with harvest or orb an influence on it and then use Harvest to guaranteed "added cold to spell", "added fire to spell" or "added lightning to spell" (two of them) to your helmet.

So yea, unless you have a massive amount of pen and reduced res and you want to min-max your build, I would just skip that helmet for now.
Just warning. Large cluster jewels need to be at least lvl 68 to roll Blanketed Snow. Learned this the hard after spending all my alterations and getting really angry at my rng.

For those who struggle a bit getting more DPS and dont got much currency to spend.

Boots

Amazing low-midgame Boots with decent movemend speed, lots of damage and a nice quality of life bonus of unaffected by chilled ground.




Gloves

We now spend way more Mana then before and the faster casting mod on those gloves can be combined with the curse setup. In Maps you have almost a 100% uptime with flat 2% Crit modifier which is amazing and gives you a nice boost. Not so much for bossing though.
If you can get them with a spellcrit corrupted implicit the gloves gives you almost the same Crit like a leveled increased critical strike gem as a 8th link in your chest.

Both Items are in the very low chaos price range and deliver very much for the build before you can afford expensive items.

With the Resistance on my character i manage to equip both of these items. You sacrifice defensive but get a ton of offensive for it, your choice.

Almost doubled my DPS to 113k today. I think hat 30% FP speed is more important than ever due to the ritual size, so I'll drop the new hat type without doing calculations yet. I can definitely see it working under some conditions though.

I also think I'm about 50% DPS off what I need to be totally comfortable in these T16 rituals. It'll be interesting to see how the endgame works with adding more and more mobs to the rituals, and seeing how far DPS can scale this league.

A couple of ritual clearing tips:

1. Frost bomb - second wind - spell cascade - increased AOE
2. Frostbite - spell cascade - arcane surge
3. Phase run - increased duration - efficacy
4. CWDT - steelskin - frost shield

The idea of the first two is to cover as much of the whole ritual as possible with one cast. I'm tempted to drop sniper's mark to add increased AOE on the frostbite too, sniper's mark is dex limited, so is it really worth it? I guess eventually these links upgrade to awakened spell cascade.

The idea of the third is that it's easier to hide while you have phasing. Vaal cold snap into phasing gives you stealth for a long time.

And for the fourth, I wanted a second defensive addition to CWDT, and frost shield is actually useful. When it triggers, cast your totems underneath it, then go back into hiding while they kill everything.
