diablo 3 always shouts about however many copies of the game are out there, 20 million or something right? so then people in forums say it, and they say 20 million copies sold...

ok so all the world of warcraft people got given diablo 3 for free when it came out, so it might be as many as half the copies of d3 that originally "sold" wernt actually sold, they were given away for free. then when reaper of souls expansion came out it came with d3, you got the base game for free with the expansion. so even tho i already had d3, i bougbht reaper of souls, that technically came with a second d3, so now im responsible for 2 copies of d3 in the 'sales' figures. My gf plays wow, her copy of d3 came free with her wow subscription. She also got reaper of souls. so between us we bought 1 copy of d3 and 2 copies of ros, yet in the stats we own 4 copies of diablo 3 and 2 ros despite only buying 1 actual copy of d3 between us.
