[3.11] Bashtart's HERALD OF PURITY GUARDIAN: cheap starter & endgame boss farmer with insane dps!

hey man,

Just wanted to thank you for this build! i managed to kill Sirus(awakend 5) in my first attempt only had 3 deads.
they amound of dmg the heralds do is crazy.

so ye thanks im loving it so far!
In your writeup you say optionally you can use Vaal Haste for a DPS boost, but I noticed in your PoB you have Vaal Haste (50%), Pride (50%), and Flesh and Stone (25%) turned on for a total of 125% mana reservation. How are you doing this?

I'm trying to push my minion DPS past 623k, any recommendations?

I only use vaal haste not normal Haste.

Level Herald of Purity to 2 and you will have nearly 700k dps per sentinel. The best way to scale your dps now is with skill gems and jewels.
This is my second league, and first time I'm running a build (first league, syndicate, I run ele, and did the build myself…went well until t12/t15 map).

I like this build of course, it's a welcome change from struggling. Early on it wasn't too expensive, although the two rings really kill the "budget" part of the build. You certainly need one at least. When I bought them, they were still at 40-60c, now it's at least 60c, and if I want a good modifier, I'll probably have to spend 1-2ex.

For now, I'm still in the process of filling the atlas, so I'm focused on clear speed, and am oneshoting almost all bosses.

I run HoP + Haste + Pride, by using a Pride mana reservation mod on my amulet. Haste really increases mobility, and I like it over Sand and Stone. I've tried to grab some bonuses here and there. My helmet gives +2 to minion gem. When I switch armor, I might remove haste for sand and stone, so I can try to survive.

I believe I've spend 200-300c on what I got now, including a stupid amount of chromatiic to get the colors I wanted on one of the dagger. Some of the mods are useless, but that's because I went for a budget version of the item.











Also I'm using three heretical guardians, and I don't know if it's the helmet or because where I am is way too easy yet, but they're unkillable.

how do u sustain your HOP sentinels before boss fight?

eg, by the time u finish choosing the materials for metamorph and the boss spawns, your HOP wld have disappeared. Bladefall the boss till HOP is back up? seems v clunky to me. :( tat few sec before HOP is up can get u killed.

With Blade Vortex all 5 Sentinels were up again in 2-3 sec. that´s why BV is a good option to trigger them

@Jack_Whitehand:you´ve had problems to become the colours on one of the dagger ?
There are some methods to get them.. playing around with Jewelers Orbs on the crafting bench or using the chrome calc: https://siveran.github.io/calc.html

thanks for sharing so many thoughts about this wonderful build!
Her is my own attempt to alter it a bit. I hope you can tell me, if it is any better or simply worse:

The idea is to combine the build with the Holy Relic as a damage dealer. I chanced the helmet so i got the enchantment we need on the unique i want.
The main issue here is to proc the novas from the relics.
I still wanted to use Blade Vortex so i combined it with Cyclone/CwC since it can only proc from attacks. This procs the Novas from both Relics every 0.2 sec. This is a good amount of damage, helps the clear speed a lot and lets me deal damage in moments without the Sentinels. (and a good portion o life reg too)
Do you think it is wort not using a pumped up version of Blade Vortex?
PS: A shame, that the Holy Relic is not considered a physical spell....

I tried holy relic but I have not found it that effective for this build but I guess from the synergies it should work just fine. I guess it is a matter of taste. I trying atm to make a build around the holy relic because I think it is a really cool skill but not sure yet if it will be fully viable to be a main skill.

By the way, I was wondering, your build uses two curses, Enfeeble on Cast When Damage, and Vulnerability.

Without skills, we can't stack two curses right ?
BTW The coming calamity 6 link is 3.5 exalts atm, better off getting the 85 chaos rings I think?
