So right now I feel like there is two options, a cheap minion build that feels good and fun to play or a ridiclious expensive bow build.

Hopefully in the future we can revive spell casting (RIGHT NOW IT DOESNT MAKE SENSE TO HAVE A HP SPELLCASTER BUILD AT ALL WITHOUT ANY ACCES TO SOURCES OF LEECH) on top of the fact that all fun spells have been nerfed to the ground :(

I find the statistics fascinating, but I think its wrong to reduce the population by level and then say its more popular.


I don't think I have a single character over 60 currently. Why? Well I just returned to playing after a gap is part why, but truthfully, I liked to try the different classes out, somewhere around Level 30 or 40, I always felt the growth of the character kind of starts to plateau. As I can't grind all day long, I'll probably not make it to the very end acts before the league is over. Does taht mean I enjoy it less? Heck no.

I just now took a stab at a Blight league character, this weekend. Before that it was just standard league for me. I was still feeling out the changes since I took a break. So while I get it, it may look like necromancers are the only ones progressing deep into the game, it may be that at some point the grind is not as much fun with other characters, not that the necromancer is some how 'over powered'.
sad to see the game becoming a meta game for the new meta league... so sad.. i wish the chinese influence has not poison GGG mind...

PLS come back to old time POE...more quality no quantity!!

Predictions:
- nerf scourge arrow
- add new skill that is stronger than current scourge arrow
- nerf that new skill in 3.10
- reshuffle the tree so you have to respec all your standard characters, bonus points if they break the "lioneye jewel spot" 90% of bow builds rely on by moving claw nodes away or sth
- leave underused bow skills like blast rain, split arrow or shrapnel shot in the gutter still because nobody cares



-Destroy more skills that actually needs high level gear and isn't even played based on "muh sc balance 3k hp" xDdddd

-Keep necro unchanged, that needs literally nothing to work over 6 past leagues

-add another OP crafting base for necro but don't add anything for other skills

didn't know i became meta slave by playing necro for 2 years straight... OK OK =), but ye necro is overtuned (just remove bone armour node completly).
For those who typed nerf Baronmancer, i would say the amount of uniques that u need to that build to work is high especially for ssf and it doesn't gives HUGE benefits.
Convoking wand base is good adition for game, because the only mod that u could get was incresed damage/movement speed from essence, also increased attack speed from alvas temple that would be hard to target farm on weapon, imagine u playing with bow and getting only 1 phys mod on it only from essence or alva temple.... and it's 2 years as that and before u didn't have even those... COME ON.
What is dead may never die. I might lag out and die due to performance issues, but my 80k hp zombers don't and still kill stuff if they do not also tank it for me and thus save me. Long live!! I mean. Anyway.

we quit and GGG why not buff altas maps in drop blighted map, not low lvl. i said sucks Blight league.

I think reason why so much people play Necromancer meta, because without very good build you will perform bad in league mechanics, and necro is easy choice. Its better then in legion, but still a problem.

I have played 2 builds that were basically new to me. At least in some way. Sure i have played melee and bow builds before but these were some what different from what i have done before.

I started the league with my first ever Jugg. And used first time tectonic slam too. Felts pretty nice all tho didn't beat my all time favorite fire melee build (MS champion few league back). Tankiness was amazing and i made it mainly to do some casual delve pushing. And it worked very well and got me enough currency to make my second build.

Which was poison scourge arrow pathfinder. I haven't done any poison builds since that double dipping BS was destroyed. And never tried scourge arrow either. I have made plenty of bow builds but this felt totally different in play style. But i LOVE it! :D This will probably be my league started if i don't come up with something before coming leagues. Clear speed is great, legion encounters are amazing, delving is great, boss killing is great...everything just feels great...everything feels great.

I have never been so much into spells (unless you count CoC builds as such) so can't really comment on that. But what my friends are saying low life and ES spell casters seems to be as good as ever.
