South park got banned in china - Poe is owned by china..

All because you don't study history. One hundred years ago someone said “We will hang the capitalists with the rope that they sell us”. Sounds familiar? No? But it should, my pedigree chums

They could always ban you without any cause, whatsoever. GGG is based in New Zealand and has to comply with New Zealand law, which I doubt protects any continuing private interests you may have in what is a private exchange of goods and services. (Regardless of being owned by Tencent, btw.)

If you wish to no longer "support" GGG/Tencent by continuing your patronage of its game, you're able to do that by no longer playing and supporting them with online purchases. Simple. Effective. Done.

Well, they do business in the US so they still have to comply with US regulatory laws. I would imagine that if you were banned for something not covered in the TOS you would have a valid tort. However, as they have made political discussion against the TOS, GL with that. They did that, I believe, specifically to prevent us players from upsetting their communist overlords. I mean look at what is being done to the NBA in China by Tencent. That would put GGG out of business. They are 80% owned by Tencent.

South park is a trashy cartoon filled with shallow humor. Get over it.

LOL? banning freedom of speech "has everything to do with ruling from fear, in the west we could ban it too but we know better than to suppress people.

Just facts, get over it.

Boooo, Southpark is great and from as long as I can remember they've made fun of anything and anyone, especially popular culture.

I don't care that it got banned from China, it makes me appreciate it more knowing they chose to stick with their style over adjusting it for more money.

South Park's humor has long been tiresome and repetitive. But as always, there's relevance in what Stone and Parker have to say blended in with the trash humor. Kudos to them for continuing to be some of the lone voices of sanity from throughout the entertainment spectrum, consequences real or imagined be damned. And to Comedy Central for continuing to allow them to do what they do.
I have a pretty good sense of humor. I'm not German.

Probably the case already but hey, stay on the safe side and don't compare Xi Jinping to Winnie the Pooh. :)

In all honesty that character is most friendly. The only thing this might symbolise is greed for honey.. but ive never seen a friendlier nickname given to anyone based on any cartoons.
I swear if they make some maven "Simon says" insta-death minigame, sirus, exarch ball minigame then i wont play poe2.

Which is funny to me. If I'm going to be an autocrat, why wouldn't I take advantage of being associated with a friendly children's cartoon character? There's great propaganda potential here: have an entire generation associate and grow up with me being a lovely, fluffy little stuffed animal. They could spin that in an entire direction but instead decided to ban this meme.

That was the first toy/stuffed animal my mom bought me. Guess what, she still has it <3
I love south park
