What the hell man? Announcing new league doesn't kill anything :D Quite the opposite in my experience. When they announce new league people get hyped and might actually come back for little more fun in current leagues. Or start making plans and testing for possible league start builds etc. Maybe they have some challenges not done and that hype gets them come back to finish those. Or spend some currency they had left or clean stash tabs.

I hope they talk (and show) stuff regarding optimizations and performance improvements and future plans how to make the game more balanced and stable, not some shiny sh*t where half of it won't even work and be broken at the start of release...

So don't drool over the "mega announcements" to soon. The lower your expectations are the less you gonna be disappointed. On the contrary, maybe you will be even surprised.

I´m not sure if I understand it clearly: Is the whole Two-day-Exilecon-Stream for free? Or is it just the first announcement presentation?

Do I perhaps need to pay for a virtual ticket for further streams, like for example Blizzard demands it?
