So 12k ES is only reachable with perfect rolled ES gear plus cluster jewels?
Damage wise I seen to have improved, not one-shotting bosses but making a good amount of damage. But it's becoming harder to get over 8k ES. " 14k is possible with perfect gear. You are missing a ton of easy rolls. Neither ring has any flat ES on it. The build is flat ES starved. These both need to have flat ES. Your belt is t3 rather than t1. Your boots are missing 100+, your helm 50+. Also, you have base level quality on all of your gear. Running Hillock for 28% is an easy boost. 10k ES is achievable with a few ex in budget, 12k takes a bit more. |

Hello Bear, I want to ask you how does Arc mines feel ? I played harvest league as ball lightning but I kinda want to try arc mines, is it worth ?
Always grateful for your help and your guide, helped me alot to get me hooked on miner for quite some leagues already :D . | |

first of all, thank you very much for sharing your build/guide and all the effort you put into that! I played around a little bit with it on a low level, and absolutely adore the miner playstyle, never tried that before! Thats why i decided this to be my starter (and finisher) build for the next exp. I am pretty new to poe and a really casual player with little knowledge (harvest league SSF/SC being the first time reaching lvl90 and killing Sirus/Cat/Atziri with a Trickster ED/C), so i have to strictly stick to proper guides for builds to work. Also, i exclusively play SSF, just don't like the trading aspect. With this out of the way, i have a (probably dumb) question regarding the gem links especially for the CI-version of your build (because i will stick to that, to get a shavronnes&prism guardian sounds unrealistic for me in SSF): i am missing links/gems especially in the weapon/shield slots. What i understood is: 6-Link: Ball Lightning > High Impact Mine > Swift Assembly > Slower Proj > Trap and Mine > Controlled Destruction/... 4-Links: 1).Flash Dash > Faster Casting > Arcane Surge > Second Wind 2).Blasphemy Support > Enfeeble > Skitterbots > Enlighten level 3/4 2-Link: CWDT > Immortal Call 1-"Link": 1).Chaos Golem 2).Portal (obviously not needed) This leaves me with 6 open gemslots, either in weapon+shield (when i put CWDT>IC&Chaos Golem&Portal in the 3rd 4-Link), or in some of the 4-link-items. Do culling strike ignores ES? Never done a LL build before, so I'm asking. Sometimes I just die w/o even being hit, and I know it's not by overkill damage since I'm running with little to none damage mods. Some Legion mobs and a few rares sometimes have it. Thanks!

" Yes. Culling Strike does ignore ES. I have played low life builds before but I haven't noticed a problem with this. Although it was long time ago before Legion. What's our solution? To have 11% "max hp" so we don't die to 10% culling strike? Does that mean we have to skip one aura? Is it worth it? Any other ideas? | |
" I dunno what's happening... I have 1k life and 131 unreserved, that means like 13% life remaining and stil sometimes I get culling striked... BTW: Do not ever try to bite more than you can chew: I was trying to upgrade a T5 flat ES mod and now I ended up with this... Rolled like 200 seeds with 20 remove/add defense, that armour mode won't go away... Before it was 20% inc lightning damage and 30% inc ES from body armour... " It’s okay for league start, but the boss damage is pretty bad. Takes a crap ton of investment to be worthwhile. Imo it’s really only BL/GC that feel good atm. |
