Any decent Phys Bow will work in the meantime.

Darkscorn will come down in price and eventually be more approachable. Right now not too many people have Legion unlocked in the map device. Eventually when more and more are rolling it, the price will drop considerably.

There are also options with the new Hunter influence. Corroded + Aberrant Fossils + Hunter Base looks relatively spicy if you don't want to deal with the down side of Chaos Resistance.

I respec into SA Assassin from my Caustic Arrow Trickster, a bit struggle to re leveling the skill and the damage is not as satisfied as I want it to be but there is room for upgrade so I'm looking forwards to it. I also have a question regarding the bandits choice.I kill them all for 2 spec since I go all out for Chaos Multiplier in my Caustic Arrow build. Would it affect my DPS much or no? Is there a way to make up for it or not tho?

Its multi, mana regen and all res, while its not make or break its all useful, and can be changed with a simple vendor recipe in case you'd like to change over later: https://pathofexile.gamepedia.com/Deal_with_the_Bandits

The damage is not impressive until you've got a decent bow. It doesn't need to be darkscorn. A decent phys bow with a delve poison mod or some of the new hunter mods will definitely get it feeling much better.

I purchase a 5 link Lioneye Glare yesterday with good roll, the gameplay is much smoother after I endure the grind to lvl up Scoure Arrow and its support skill to a decent lvl, also got my first watchstone with the build too. Overall, the DoT is still sub optimal, I may stack more Crit Multi and hope that Perfect Agony may do what it should. Tks for the build anw.

I know this deviates from the OP's build a bit, but if you have around 3-4ex total, you can get a decent bow and a 6 link chest with -15 cost to socketed attacks, like these.

You see the chest isnt that well-rolled but it's fine, what I really wanted was the mana cost mod. I paid 120c on the chest and 2ex on the bow.

For the people going after Darkscorn, the only real reason to use it is with 2x
and a Xibaqua Glorious Vanity jewel to get Divine Flesh.

Otherwise you're spending a ton of money on a very dangerous bow (unless you get chaos res) and very minimal damage gain vs a rare bow.

Your gear looks solid to me. If you're having a specific problem can you let me know more about it so I can try to help?

The biggest step up would be the +1 Arrow, as the clustering of pods in a V-shape around the boss/mobs allow us to really take advantage of what SA has to offer for single target.

Thanks! Well, I struggle to improve on HP and Chaos Res... At this point it's hard to exchange one piece of gear without losing relevant stats. But I'm gonna look for an additional arrow quiver next.

Stupid question here, but I leveled with Death's Harp and got the pods to hit as a V around bosses. But now that I've switched to a 6L poison bow and the Cloak of Defiance, the pods only go in a straight line. I figure this is because I lose out on the extra arrow provided by Death's Harp, but how do you get the V shape without that bow? Is it the helm enchant, which I do not have?

edit: Sorry I am dumb. I see that I need a +1 arrow quiver
