Making Cassia

To be honest, I was starting into this league with a little trepidation. I am not a fan of tower defense games... and personally have avoided them. But the introduction to this game mechanic has been challenging and inviting, and Cassia, is the sweet-and-sour sauce on top.

Yes she's annoying, but her distant singing, always alerts you loot is ahead. At first I was double-minded on her as a new introduced master, but she grows on you. (good and bad)

She is cocky,(religiously devoted as a Templar)yet mature, and impatient, as most religious folks have a tendency to be with younger people. (or outsiders, non-Templars) You always feel her to be pushy and demanding with you, even though her signals are guiding you to your success.

I love her "Oh?" Like your interrupting my singing, but you'll do in a pinch!!!

Thanks for the humbling in Wraeclast! (you always keep reminding us, we are just exiles!)

A cleaver creation indeed...nice job GGG! You are always so creative and full of surprises!
love her!
best npc so far!

she beat Malachai sound acting immersion for me hehe
I often find myself killing monsters around, carefully avoiding to come too close, to avoid stopping her singing :D
Cool speech, compared to Niko who is soooo annoying (not Einhard oups)
SSF for ever :)

Sorry, but for me Cassia is the most annoying NPC in PoE EVER!...

Excellent job! She and blight must be added to core. I did not think I would like it but I was wrong.

Cassia straddles the line between annoying and amusing, which I imagine was exactly the intention. I feel like she's a very successful NPC.

What I really would've liked to have seen more of, though, is developmental dialogue. As we progress through acts 6-10 and then into the endgame, it would've been nice to see her offer more conversations and observations about the way the storyline is unfolding. Perhaps some commentary on the gods being released, a reaction to collaborating with Sin, some kind of speculation about the origin of the Blight and how it could pertain to the map device and/or the Elder that Zana and the exile are pursuing...it feels like there's almost no fresh content from her after only a few days of playing. It's quite a contrast with both Betrayal and Synthesis.

Relatedly, I also would like to see how she gets along with the other masters. Almost all of them have lots to say about each other, but it's almost like she and the masters have no clue the other exists.

But great job with her, again, and thanks for all the polish you put into the details of this game!

Would love to hear her comments about Sin as she must be aware by now, that he's out and about, engineering his own form of corruption control.

I really enjoy Cassia, wonderful job and it's really great that you guys put so much work and effort into the NPCs in this game-- it makes them feel much more alive than any others I've encountered in other games.
I am certain Cassia and Niko have some kind of deal: She is powering those towers of hers and the pump with Azurite. And in her chest piece is an empower gem. Thaumaturgy and Azurite. That's what got her exiled.
