When we all switched off all micros all of the issues gone, like a touch of god, dominus would be proud. Now i lag only when some supporter comes to buy something in the hideout or at the start of game when it forces me too town. This is a super serious issue and you should definetely look into it, we are probably not the only ones figuring this out.. And that one cuts deep into your pockets.

My buddy wanted to buy glacial cascade micro as the base look in certain maps makes you blind, but he will not as its a choice - cant play or go blind/dont run certain maps (like dark forest). On a sidenote - you should definetely tone down on some graphical fireworks it might cost your playerbase a lot in eyes health issues.

And i wish you well, love the game regardless of my dissagreement with many of the things you push on us.. dont take this issue lightly, its severe - you already lost money.

Hope they will read carefully and look into it.
Mtxes are getting too much, and it seems somth broken at many of them about optimization and stability.

When we had Directx 9 ex, I could lower the quality so much that I could play with a portable potato at 120 fps.
They said they took it away to save work but if there were 9 ex, most would be using it and enjoying the league. What interests me least about POE are the graphics.

Yep, this is what the GGG devs (or Chris Wilson himself?) unfortunately fail to understand and force us to see sh*t that is completely unnecessary thus murdering performance. The more stable is the performance in ARPG game the better, people to this day play games like D2 and even D1 and nobody gives a duck about the graphics. The more responsive and stable is your game the more control you have. That is especially viable in HC. So it's not really graphics that make a great game... I'd say we should always have an option to customize our game as much as we like.

Now this whole forced graphical (mainly I hate useless shadows and MTX disco in towns which is also useless) and games mathematical mess (as GGG said) combined got so bad that it finally started to backfire. Even worse they managed to mess up memory usage on top of that...

I really hope they learned or will learn a lot from this league and all the feedback that players give.

With time if this continues you might not even be able to enjoy standard properly. When I told that in standard the game should perform well and it seems that only blight in general lags, one person told me that I'm wrong and I should jump through towns a little and check my memory (in standard). Oh boy was I surprised. He basically told me that there are some problems with the coding for memory usage or whatever and towns perform very bad now and they even load longer (maybe?). Not only towns but whole game might be actually using and loading more RAM than it should.

So, I bet standard has same RAM problem as well as Blight. I'm really waiting for them to at least return memory usage to Legion state, for me at least it was OK.

GGG confirmed they know about it but I'm really curious when they will fix it and is it even possible to fix at this point. I'm literally not playing because of this and hope for a patch soon.

I understand all the concerns, and I appreciate the efforts .. but you KNEW this was going to be a minion league with all the improvements to summoners, so why are you getting around to addressing it 2 weeks into the league? Are you over reaching with league content? Are you not giving enough time for stress testing?

I recommend going to 4 month leagues .. or 3 months .. and a month of races. Something to give developers time to fix these issues BEFORE league start. This has become a BAD HABIT since Beastiary League.

You say it's "too many monsters" .. but every league mechanic recently has been to spawn LOTS of monsters.

Yeah when u can't even open a strongbox without getting one second freezes most of the time. And this has been happening since forever, I play since 2013 and never saw this game perform good on any system I had.

Yo, I found one issue.


If I take the acceleration shrine, client desyncs. I keep getting rubberbanded back whenever I go too far too quickly. The problem sometimes is, my character remains behind but my minions (with meat-shield support) go ahead.

Luckily, being a necromancer allows me to be safe while desync and always shows me where I am (Meat shield minions are always near me).


Checking if it repairs itself when I log out and log back in.

Meanwhile, patch that please! I hope people don't get that while in the Lab.

if everyone complaining would buy something from time to time, they would have enough resources to do a tech debt league as is would ease their prioritisation.
