I just don't understand how to survive long enough to allow only zombies to clear mobs. I get wrecked so fast by larger mobs in high tier maps. I don't have much of an issue with damage it doesn't seem, I can dash into a mob and use convocation and they die almost instantly. My issue is being able to dash into the mobs consistently without dying so I am able to use convocation. That's why I rely so heavily on skeletons right now, I can safely cast them from a distance. But the gameplay is soooo slow and getting a bit boring.

Then I watch builds like archmage just fly through high tier maps and wonder if I wouldn't be better off starting up an archmage build with 12ex and upgrading as I fly through maps and get more currency

Hmm, if it's a playstyle thing, then yeah - give Archmage a go.

I pulled your char into POB and it mostly looks fine on paper. I don't have the same experience as you and I have negative Chaos res, so perhaps it's also a matter of adjusting playstyle to a degree.

Few points re. your own survivability, which won't be pricey, so give them a go:
- You don't use Bone Barrier, which gives a lot of phys reduction. Change commander of darkness to this.
- Use upgraded Lunaris for more phys reduction.
- Use VMS / MS / Bone Armour liberally (don't see Molten Shell in your gear)
- Give your Guardian a Kingmaker and use Meat Shield gem, so he sticks to you and give you Fortify.

Recommended clusters don't really affect your char and aren't cheap, but they add huge improvements to your minions.

Awesome thanks for all the info, I'll make some changes and see how it feels. Much appreciated!

Yeah, honestly I almost gave up on the 1000 strength, because I couldn't get above like 650 lol. Finally I was like screw it, let's buy a couple of the int to strength gems, re-do a couple skill tree points, and go hard on strength.

I gave up some max life nodes to accomplish the 1000, but honestly the leech from your minions is super important, so doing whatever I could to get to 1000 strength made a big difference for me.

Hi
I have few questions - sorry if it was already raised but too many pages and can't read them all.

1) Why weapon with fortify is better than with increased minion dmg.
Fortify gave us only 20% more vs 100% increased on that other weapon. Or is it just for that defensive buff to minions (less damage taken) ??
Weapons with fortify cost 11+ ex but with minions increased dmg (approx 100%) cost only 6-7+ ex.

2) Brunowa mentioned that aspect of avian is pointless on tanky setup - why?
Is this not providing that movement speed and damage (Avian's Might and Avian's Flight buffs) to minions if not using Saqawal's Nest ??

3) There was debate which offensive spectres are best. There are nice examples on page 1246. Someone also mention that monster who cast deathmark is also good - can't find that conversation and I would like to know which monster cast deathmark - maybe is better than Arena Master spectre ??

Thanks in advance for any answer.

1) 20% more damage is more damage than 100% increased damage. Minion damage is in the increased damage category means its additive to other increased damage sources. While when damage is MORE its a seperate multiplier to the damage.

Lets say you have 400% minion damage 1000 strenght so thats 500 strenght to minions so thats 100% increased damage, add any gem increase, auras, commander ascension etc. You should reach like 600% minion damage, if not more. Thats adding to 100% minion damage to 600% will be 700% increased damage if you have fortified support instead that 600 is gonna be 600*1.2 wich comes out at 720% minion damage. Add in extra bleed damage and fortified effect. It will come out better.

2) without the chest the aspect isnt an aura.

3)For specters Im quite certain the 4th specter is the baranite Cleric, 20% phys as extra lighting damage +10% chance to smite is more consistent than other options for the 4th specter.

I never really had much issue getting to 1000 strength, my problem has just been not getting insta-killed going into big mobs in t15 and t16 maps. I think its just a playstyle thing, but im not sure. I have 1140 str, 6.2khp and 2.4k es with capped res and 61% chaos res. In the videos he posted for the guide he just walks into mobs and uses convocation and destroy mobs, i try that and i get killed before i can even use convocation a lot of times.

Your DPS must be terrible. You are running 4Links trying to smash through T16s, gems with no quality.

Your zombies are not even getting the benefit of +2 levels because you have them in chest instead of weapon.

Your gems are literally all over the shot.

Fix those up and you'll start seeing some big differences.

Higher DPS equals quickly taking down mobs before they can even touch you.

What? I'm running 6l zombie setup, granted its not 21/20 but it is 20/20. My zombies absolutely are in my weapon, i have skeletons in my chest. You may have clicked the wrong profile, because everything you just described is not my build currently.
i rlly hate this build...after 5 days trying fixing im done...is not tanky...minion are squishy and dont have the spike dmg that i need...spent a lot of times and currency for nothing so sad

Hi guys. This is my build above. I was trying to figure out what is going on because my zombies are constantly dying and resummoning them means I have to drop haste to even have enough mana to cast Summon Zombie (my enlighten gems are still level 2, and I do not have the currency for 6L's yet). Not to mention, I die instantly sometimes.

I really enjoy the build. I was using montreguls and the kite shield and was doing fine but decided to step up to 5L and then bam I am getting 1 shotted and/or my zombies are dying. There is not a single delirium I can go through w/o dropping haste and resummoning zombies.

Thanks for all your help.
Hi everyone I used this build last league and plan to use it again later this league (it's just too fun to stay away from). My fiancée is using it currently and we were wondering. For the Bow setup using the Cluster Stacking build. Would it be possible to use Null's Inclination Ranger Bow to auto cast the offerings? The unique bow says that it automatically casts minion skills automatically on kills with this weapon. I'm just not sure how often it would actually proc.

This is my current setup. It's doing pretty well but I find the damage a bit lacking.I have 5 ex to spend and I was wondering what I should spend it on. I was thinking about transitioning over into the speed farming build. I could pick up the armor. But I can never afford aul's with no mana reserved for pride. Is it even worth switching to the other setup without it?
