Console countdown timer pushed back 3 days disappointment

I wonder how much effort it takes to use the Playstation event system to set one up for the launch. Would have been nice for GGG because it also reminds people who have quit the last league early and haven't followed up on the news.

According to your supporter packs you've been playing for at least a few leagues now, so why is this a surprise? They always release the console leagues a few days after the PC release, thought that was common knowledge.

Then again I can see why you'd be annoyed with the whole timer thing. Especially with them changing it last minute to reflect the actual launch date for console. Maybe it was just an error for playstation users because I never noticed a timer when logging in on xbox. But that is definitely a mistake on their end that they should at least acknowledge.

When it's all said and done though, we're still getting completely free content drops every 3 months. Idk why you'd ask for compensation for a small mistake like this- it would be like telling your grandma she owes you 5 bucks because she gave you a birthday present 3 days late. It's not like she had to give you anything to begin with.

I do wish that we could've gotten the update at 4pm eastern time like PC players did, instead of 11pm for some weird reason. Now I won't even get to play it until tomorrow because of work. Bummer. But it is what it is. As long as this league is actually playable on console I'll be alright.

I just logged in on xbox and there's a message that says:

"We've run into an issue during the certification process which is currently preventing us from deploying patch 3.8.0. We're working closely with Microsoft in an effort to resolve this issue as quickly as possible. We'll update this message as soon as we have further information to share. We are very sorry for the inconvenience."

At least it's still letting me log into my legion characters to play for now. I remember one league where they shut down the old patch before they could get the new one up and running, preventing us from being able to play for quite some time lol. Hopefully they'll get this resolved quickly.
