«*Unofficial Low Level PvP*» [Unofficial PoE PvP Site LAUNCHED]

Hello guys. Some of you may know me from either having a match against me, or just friends for casual reasons. For those of you who don't, I am an extreme enthusiast for the PvP scene. Grinding Gear Games has been doing an amazing job with the game, but I am a bit sad as it seems they are neglecting the PvP side of Path of Exile. Many players have been wanting a Ladder/Ranking system, and so have I, but have not received the content. Slowly, people are becoming more and more discouraged for several reasons, such as that there is not enough competition, too easy, or simply due to the fact that no matter how well thought their build or character is, they are left with nothing, making them feel unaccomplished or underachieved. In order to solve these problems, I have finally decided to take up some of my time to create an official Low Level PvP thread. This thread will act as the main thread in order to arrange PvP matches and what not until GGG creates their own.

Just joking, it's not a FAQ, but here are the reasons why I am into the Low Level PvP scene a LOT more than Merciless PvP.
1. In Merciless PvP, there are no level brackets, making it extremely unfair to those who have just reached Act 2 Merciless. They may be going against people that are level 80 with the best gear whereas their only option is decent level 60 gear.
2. The simple level difference is a big gap. The difference in the amount of passive skill points one has sometimes plays an even bigger role than the gear itself.
3. It is very hard for you to improve your current character if you were to find any weaknesses, making you spent a hefty amount of orbs.

To those of you who were wondering why it costs 1 Chaos to register for the Ranking/Ladder system, this is to pay the developer of our amazing new site that had been created.

1. The ranking/ladder system will be strictly organized by me.
2. In order to raise up your ranking, you must first challenge the lowest ranking first, and go up from that. This means that for the 9th spot, you must challenge the 10th first beforehand.
3. This is a ranking/ladder system. Those who are challenged must accept the match unless there is an extreme emergency or amazing reason.
4. You are absolutely 100% not allowed to change characters after the 1st match. Those who do will be disqualified.
5. "Disconnections" will automatically give your opponent free 2 wins.
6. Matches for the ranking spots between 1-5 will be a best of 9.
7. Matches for the ranking spots between 6-10 will be a best of 5.
8. In order to challenge for a spot in the 1-5 ranking, you must pay the person you're challenging 1 Chaos.
9. In order to challenge for a spot in the 6-10 ranking, you must pay the person you're challenging 1 Alch.
10. You may only request 1 official ranking/ladder match each day/character. However, if you win your first match, you may pay ME 1 Alch for another match. Those who lose will no longer be qualified for the rest of the day.

This will give you enough time to study each others build, and change your character up a bit. (Some of you may say, "But that's a counter-build." If someone has the ability to beat a build they are weak to within 5 or more matches, they are without doubt good enough to be ranked that certain spot)

People may be like, "Phantaszm is a money hungry ******." I kind of am, but there's a good explanation for this. Who doesn't get motivated by money? If people are paid to play a match for their spot, it gives their spot VALUE. This means that they have a title they can be proud of, and also help them support themselves financially for better items. Also, if you were to obtain a ranking spot, you would also be legible to gain currency to play against others.

It has come to my attention that some of the people are confused about how the Top 10 will be decided at first.In order to clear up any misunderstandings or confusion, the Top 10 will not be selected by me (in terms of who I believe should be in the Top 10).
The way I will decide the Ranking System for the START-UP of the Ladder is to organize a Placement Match. After I have 10 official registered members, I will be holding a Placement Match Tournament (free of charge).I will post a randomly selected Tournament Bracket, and through that, the Top 10 will be decided. However, if there are not enough or too many people to have a perfect bracket system, I will be giving a "By/Free pass" to certain people who I recognize as a strong PvPer. Those who have a problem with this are free to challenge them for the "By/Free pass." However, a loss will result in an immediate lowest ranking possible in the tournament.

6. You may only be on one team PER character. In order to be in more than one, it will cost 1 Alch for each additional team.
7. Matches for the ranking spots between 1--5 will be a best of 9.
8. Matches for the ranking spots between 6-10 will be a best of 5.
9. In order to challenge for a spot in the 1-5 ranking, the team must pay the team you're challenging 1 Chaos each.
10. In order to challenge for a spot in the 1-10 ranking, the team must pay the team you're challenging 1 Alch each.
11. You may only request 1 official ranking/ladder match each day/team. However, if you win your first match, you may pay ME 1 Alch for another match. Those who lose will no longer be qualified for the rest of the day.

However, if you are worried, I am available to act as a medium/mediator for the match and will be holding onto the prize pool. However, this will cost a small fee. Once a week, I will be holding a "King of the Hill" 3 v 3 team tournament. Each team must pay 1 Chaos/member in order to qualify for this event. After a set amount of teams are registered, I will be creating a RANDOM bracket. Because this is a "King of the Hill" tournament, this is a win all or nothing. This means that the winning team will gain the ENTIRE prize pool, there will be no prizes for any spot other than the FIRST. The winning team will gain the honour of having their Team Name posted in the "Team / 3 v 3" section with the tag, "King of the Hill (Week x)."
