Wrecker of Days' One-Stop-Shop: Stress-Free Builds (& Filters) (1-Button, HC SSF, Pure Item Freedom)
"You're fantastic, cnrxyz :). That's a really kind message. I'm so glad my guides were able to help you. I'm really sorry that I can't make them anymore. (Did you got the link to where I'm posting builds I'm playing, right? Just in case you still wanted to.) I'm sorry about the OCD. I've heard that quite demanding. I'm happy I was able to help in some small way though. Thanks for taking the time for such a kind message, cnrxyz. It means a lot. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

"RF is still fantastic. I hear it's getting cut down next league :(. But for 3.18, just stay away from enemies that make regen impossible. It's dumb that those mods on enemies exist, but nevertheless, that's the only thing you need to look out for. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

I have played your Bone Zombies build and it was great. Truly a 1 button build.
But, I am having problems understanding how your CWC Poison Blade Vortex occulist works like your other "One Button" builds. It looks like I will casting a lot of curses. I'am not a POE expert so I'm sure I'm not seeing how you made this build a build that doesn't require a lot of button mashing. Can you enlightment me? I have nothing but praise for all you have done for the POE community showcasing how people with ability problems can still enjoy PC / Xbox gaming without difficulty. Thank you very much. |

"Awesome, DumboWizarean! Glad you liked the Zombie build so much! I love it! The curses on the Occultist will be Auras. They'll be linked with Blasphemy which turns them into auras. So don't worry. It's still a one-button build :). Thanks so much for what you said. I really appreciate it! I wish I could still do the build guides. You made me smile. Thanks for taking the time to be so kind. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

I really appreciate all you do for us who are not "expert" players. Your guides as so well done and easy to follow. I will miss your step-by-step explanation of how to progress the builds.
In that light, my question is how do you start out the Blade Vortex Poison build? Do I just use the freezing pulse or one of the early starting curses for the early Acts? I usually play SSF and was lucky on my last build, Bone Zombies, to acquire a Dying Breath staff. I guess I just answered my question. With the Dying Breath staff, I probably should start using curses right away. Anyway, as I said, I will miss your more detailed build guides but totally understand the work it must have required to produce them. I hope your physical issues improve over time and this damn COVID doesn't find your home or family. Be well, The POE community owes you a big debt of gratitude. Phil - aka DumboWizarean |

"That was a really nice message, Phil. Thank you so much! It warmed my heart to hear such thanks and appreciation. Thanks so much for taking the time to write it. In regards to the BV Occultist, I start using the curses as they become available. The build itself starts taking off at two points: When you can unlock Blasphemy from Siosa in Act 3, and when you unlock Cast While Channelling in Act 4 (level 38). I was comfortable using Summon Raging Spirits, Blade Vortex, or Bane. Bane was fun as we unlocked more curse applications. But honestly, use whatever you like. If you like Freezing Pulse, go for it. Thanks again for the wonderful note. And feel free to ask any questions you like as long as you're ok waiting a day or two for the response! You're awesome, Phil! https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

The necro is playing a lot better than the last time I tried it. The predator support reeeeally helps!
I'm curious, what do you use for spectres nowadays? I know on the old guide you had the kitava herald, charge-granting apes, and I think a bubble guy from the act 3 end zone? Are those still what you use? I've been using the fury charge ape but trying different things in the other slots, haven't really landed on anything yet. | |
"I agree, Miral! The current version of the Nerco is fantastic! I love it. And those skills like Meat Shield and Predatory Support are really cool. I still use the same spectres. I don't personally care which spectre it is, but I want one that produces Power Charges and one that produces Frenzy Charges. I've found that all monkey versions of these generators have a great health pool/survivability. The 3rd spectre is kinda "meh" to me. I'd switch it out to try stuff often if the game's set up for replacing spectres wasn't so unintuitive. So I simply stick with the Kitava Herald or the bubble guy (like you said). But I'm like you, I'm pretty apathetic to the 3rd Spectre. https://www.ForeverExiled.com/: Forever Exiled, A Path of Exile Podcast

Oh yeah you're definitely right there, switching is a pain in the butt! We really need an "unsummon targeted minion" button.
